Stephen Mayer to Service Oregon

Better Business Bureau serving the Northwest is proud to welcome Stephen Mayer as Marketplace Manager and spokesperson for the Oregon territory.  

Before joining BBB, Mayer spent more than a decade working as a broadcast news journalist. Most recently, Mayer was a reporter and anchor at KATU-TV in Portland, Oregon. There he reported on everything from presidential visits to the homeless crisis affecting the area. Before moving to Portland, Mayer held similar titles in Kansas City and Louisiana. 

"Mayer's addition furthers our goal of reaching out to the communities of the northwest to spread BBB's mission of creating a marketplace of trust," Tyler Andrew, CEO, said. "His journalism background and track record of seeking the truth, is a perfect fit for BBB serving the Northwest." 

Better Business Bureau is a standards-based organization focused on building trust in the marketplace between businesses and consumers.  

Mayer's duties will include: hosting and attending community and private sector events, providing educational workshops and being a liaison for BBB to the local community, businesses and media.
