            We in good faith reserved condo #3 at the Kahana Village in ******* for a specific timeframe. We paid it in full and accepted the terms and conditions that were presented to us. We were due to arrive on 8/24/23. On 8/8/23, we found out that ******* was devastated by the wildfires. I immediately reached out and tried to contact someone about what to do with our reservation and also to make sure everyone was OK. There was no information on their website or social media that indicated what was happening on property. After much persistence, they reached out to me to inform that they will hold my money for 1 year for us to return. I was able to track down some numbers to speak with someone because the office phone lines were down. ***** reached out to me and was rude, condescending and unwilling to make any accommodation to our situation. She stated that in our contract and on the website it states as follows: "Management and property owner will not assume liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused by but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, pandemics, pests, construction, public/private events, acts of God, wildfire/smoke, road closures, interruption of services and utilities or other reasons beyond control." This is no where on our contract that was sent to us and I have searched all over their website and am unable to locate it. We did not want or have any intention of canceling but the condo was forced to cancel the arranged reservation due to the state not allowing visitors during the time that we were able to visit. When we explained that we will not be able to return within a year, due to our business obligations, they were unwilling to refund our monies. We understand that we would lose our deposit but they should refund us the rest of the balance. This is unethical and poor business practice. They are unworthy of a BBB rating. There is absolutely no care or concern for their guests only their bottom line.

            I paid for travel dates in September but since the fire happened we wanted to move our dates out till things got alittle better there. I have reached out 5 times by email and on their webpage with NO response from them. Whenever I call it says "voicemail npt set up" so I cant leave a message and no one ever answers. I am not sure what to do or who to contact. They have over $3000 of my money. Somebody please help me resolve this
