      Here is how you can expected to be treated by ************************* if he does not care for you or your actions do not suite him:"Out of the 3 haircuts I have provided, you were preoccupied on a work call for 2 of them. I didnt say anything during your first haircut because it was our first time meeting, but I also assumed it would be a one off situation. When it happened a second time, I spoke up so you could see firsthand that I find it disrespectful to the individual providing a service, and it is an action that I have never invited or welcomed in my shop. Rather than asking you to change the availability you need to have in order to accommodate your work schedule, I have slept on it, and made the decision to simply ask that you find another barbershop that better accommodates your needs. I have gone ahead and canceled both yours and Joels appointments on the 30th, and I wish you the best moving forward.-*************************"My future appointment was canceled because I had an earbud in during my haircut. During the haircut I continued to fully engage with ***** in conversion and answered any questions he may have had. However, he never hesitated to stop cutting my hair to chat with others in the shop. He also told a story of another customer he didn't care for that he also uninvited. So if you plan to use this shop make sure you are ready to please *****.

      *****,Thank you for your feedback, although I think you may have meant to type suit instead of suite. While I can understand how my decision to ask you to find another barbershop may have been frustrating to you, as a business owner I will not apologize for protecting a barbershop culture that has been curated from the ground up, long before you first came in last month. As I wrote to you this morning, this was the second time this happened, and as I told you in person yesterday, I find the act of being on a phone call while someone is assisting you to be entirely rude and very disrespectful. I largely consider it to be the same thing as going through a checkout at the grocery store on your phone, and not giving the cashier the time of day. I will respond in saying this, you are not wrong about what you wrote. I absolutely talk about situations in which I have asked clients to find other shops, because I want the people who support the shop to know about what is actively happening to prevent a change in the culture we have all had a part in shaping. I also have no problem in saying that I will ask people to stop coming back to the barbershop if I dont like their behavior. Believe me when I say that I cannot begin to explain how much I love firing racists when they think my shop is their soapbox. These are things that I do not apologize for, as I am quite proud of them. I completely embrace what you wrote, I am sorry, however, that we seem to disagree on what disrespectful behavior looks like. Please know this, I was not asking you to change your accommodations for work to get a haircut. Instead, I was asking you to find a place that accommodates the way you work, because my barbershop will not.
