The best way to describe them is dishonest and ignorant staff and terrible work from pictures they provided

Dishonest! Since June of 2021 ART has misled and cost me a lot of money and time. My home was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael and per Art construction it would be less expensive to replace than repair. I was told they would build my new home with completion in 10 months. I was shown a home plan and was told if I used there plans the process would go along more quickly. After 6 weeks of discussing the plans, pricing, and demo I was told by the PM my home would be demolished in August and then building would begin a couple weeks after. The beginning of August the plans were sent to an engineer to modify them for my lot, at this time I was told we would go under contract once the plans are complete but this could take 6 weeks. Every 2-3 weeks I called for an update and to see when demo was going to take place and for 3 months was told "in the next couple of weeks". On November 2, 2021 Art Construction finally went under contract for demo only and was paid for this in full. Again was told new construction contract to come after. During this I had asked several times to meet with the Contractor/Owner and was told the PM would answer any questions. Another 6 weeks went by with false promises. Again I called and emailed requesting to speak with the Contractor and wanted to know when the job would be done with more lies being told to me "by the end of the year", (they did drop off equipment the middle of December), then was told later by the first week of January. Finally towards the end of February demo started! In March I was told they are not doing the new build of my home without explanation. If I would have known this in June of 2021 I would have found a reputable builder and would have a home under construction by now! Also in March demo was complete but as of now their equipment still sits on my lot and the fill dirt was not brought in as per the contract, a large stump was left after they cut a tree down. The entire experience has been a nightmare!

I hired this company in early 2021 to fix what a previous contractor abandoned after hurricane Michael. Work included partial re-roof, set new patio posts, and soffit/facia work. This work was detailed in engineering plans also. Work started in the summer of 2021 and it continues to this day. I had to send them a notice of defect because they refused to acknowledge that they have not fulfilled the agreement by following the plans and the work that was performed was done very poorly or improper. I have been told they would fix it only to later have them say it cannot be done or that they will not. They have been out to the home over 2 dozens times. I am concerned about skill level and competency now. Even after a sit down meeting with the owner to address issues, I was assured it would be taken care of but it has not. I wish I could show you the work that was done with pictures. No one would ever hire this company for this kind of work. It is only by law to I have to keep letting them try to fix the issues.
