    We used this company to find a rental home. The application states that one year of rental history is required. We have 6 years. We were approved but only to be told that the owner of the home would not accept our rental history. So we tried for another home on their website listed by a different owner. Only to be told again that our application was being filed away because no one will accept our rental history because it is from family. In which I'm not sure where they received that information from because they never called and verified our rental history with our landlord. So our application was not processed correctly. So obviously this is their grand scheme on how to steal money from people. Their website states that fully processed applications will not receive a refund of the $50 per person application fee (2 adults applied to our total is $100). Our application was not processed fully since they did not verify our rental history. And they refuse to give our money back.

    Realty Masters of Florida is literally trying to steal my deposit for a place I never signed a lease for. I refused to take possession of the property due to the terms of the lease being extremely tenant unfriendly. Realty Masters of Florida Lease conditions 1. they will not maintain the properties appliances in any capacity, If it breaks, it is my responsibility to fix it. 2. the owner has the right to sell the property at any time and we will need to move out within 60 days if that happens. 3. They will do routine inspections while we are occupying the unit. 4. They sent over a list of chores that we will need to do upon inspection by them (I'm serious) After reviewing this ridiculous lease, I declined to sign and requested my deposit be returned, Realty Masters of Florida then informed me the owner of the property is having money troubles and will not be replacing my deposit because it's not fair to him. I rejected this answer and informed them I would seek damages through legal action from both parties if my money is not returned. I am still waiting to hear back from them, I will give them 24 hours before pursuing this further. I truly can't believe a business this bad exists. If you are a property owner, don't use this company. If you are looking for a place to live, you should also avoid this company.

    Mr. *****, We have since resolved your concerns but I did want to clarify a few things. While we did not say the owner was having money problems, we did inform that the owner is not some mega corporation, he’s a normal person, and we asked you to consider how your actions had financially harmed him as you were not willing to accept any responsibility for the situation you found yourself in. You had every opportunity to review the lease agreement prior to paying the deposit. The lease does not state we will not maintain appliances, but does state that certain appliances like a washer/ dryer if provided for convenience or a built in microwave may not be repaired at the owner’s option. We understand you were not comfortable with us doing any occupied property inspections, as is standard practice in this area, or with contacting your landlord which was the initial point of contention and the source for your other online reviews. We were also disappointed in the tone and way you spoke to our team as we tried to assist you from day one, ultimately using your employment position within a cybersecurity firm to make threats against our company. Ultimately, we think the situation worked out best for both parties, and we were glad we were able to return the deposit with the owner’s permission. We wish you the best in the future in finding a Pensacola rental that suits your needs.

    I can respect that you felt the need to respond in order to save face but the fact remains that you are lying. Your exact words were "The owner is having financial trouble and it's not fair to him for you to back out after we have turned others away". If that wasn't bad enough, you 'implied' you were keeping my deposit because of the google review I left. Your exact words were "It sounds like you want to have a conversation about the deposit, however, when you left the negative review, you ended the conversation" -- Retaliation is illegal in Florida and you are guilty of it. Your behavior is shameful and I truly feel sorry for people without means who find themselves in your grasp. Unfortunately for you I do have means and I would have taken both you and the financially troubled owner of the property to court had my deposit not been returned...
