I decided to refinance my vehicle against my better judgement with pen air. During the process they asked for various different documents including insurance and I provided them all. Months later; I get an email stating I don’t have insurance or proper insurance. The next pay day, I switch policies to accommodate the refinance and ensure I have “proper insurance”, I use the link they provided showing I switched policies, and not only that upon speaking to them directly informed that I updated my previous policy various times before switching to accommodate what they require. I go to a branch to make my first loan payment and see that it was a “partial payment” and became instantly confused! Five days later they add 1327.00 to my loan, I call obviously upset crying because I haven’t ever been late on a loan payment. The woman with whom I spoke with was pleasant and assured me she would have everything resolved and we would follow back up on Friday. I called back on Friday to just to be met with the fact she was out and to my dismay instead of them crediting my account fully they credited a partial amount. As of this morning I spoke with a representative and was met with the insult with oh we’re assuming you let your insurance lapse! I’m very upset as someone new to pen air I have been met with worst service in this regard! I’m looking for another company to refinance with. I will send them their documents that they “need” to prove my case which I should not have to do at all- but that will be it for me. I have had to take 3 hours now in total out of my days to accommodate an error on their part if it wasn’t the proper insurance why not inform at the time of the refinance!
