This review warns against Credit Business Services of Ft. Walton Beach, citing inaccurate information, frequent changes to owed amounts, and unjustified charges. Despite challenges, they failed to provide coherent explanations and adhere to legal obligations like the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Their practices included multiple balance adjustments and illicit fees, indicating incompetence and deceit. Consumers should assert their rights and hold them accountable for their actions. Companies DO NOT HIRE THEM! They will tell the individual to contact you when they have any questions!

Thank you for your review. Our records show a different depiction. We have fulfilled our obligations to the consumer and client as governed by the FDCPA, FCRA, and related laws. We have provided an in-depth review of your account and provided the requested documentation. If asked to contact the original creditor, it would be for something outside our office. Holding consumers accountable is not bad business even though it appears to upset some.Review from Ryan M

This company So bad they claimed that the debt is mine even though the company tgats submitted the debt found their employee at fault resolved the debit. This company: Credit Business Services of Ft. Walton Beach, Inc. Claims the verified the debt with the company and its still mine but I have have been in contact with the company. They sent me other documents to prove the account is resolved and they will not take the proof or remove it. Now thwy stopped answering and insisted that the property verified my debt and that they have sent me proof in my mail its been a month they will not close the illegal collection account l. Thank you for reaching out to us. I do show a dispute was received 11/17/21 and a statement was provided to you. We then spoke to you and were given additional information on 11/22/21. We verified that information, have cancelled the account and have sent notification to all National Credit Bureaus as of 11/24/21. The Credit Bureaus themselves all have their own processing times.Review from Paul D

Collection Bureau of Ft. Walton Beach posted Adverse Information to my Credit Report in August 2021, even though the Worker's Comp company had paid the bill in November 2020. CCB Ft. Walton stated this was because they were not notified of adjustments to the account by the original Creditor. They also stated that they couldn't do anything prior to August 30th to help me get this off my Credit Report, and it could take up to 30 days after that to come off my report. It would have been nice for them to double-check with the original Creditor to see if anything was still owed before screwing up my credit score.Review from Happy Customer

Was turned over to this collection agency in late 2017 after a Motorcycle Accident in October of 2017. The EMS who transported me did not copy the correct address from my insurance card and was sending the bill to an incorrect address. This collection agency applied the debt to my credit report without attempting to reach me. I subscribe to Lifelock so was made aware of the debt being applied to my credit. I paid the debt in early 2018. I received no contact from this collection company until today, August 17, 2021. This collection company is attempting to collect on the same debt. BEWARE. My motorcycle accident was in Kentucky. I have often wondered why a debt collector from Florida was assigned to my accident.Collection Bureau Of Ft. Walton Beach FL, Inc. Response

I am in the middle of purchasing my first home and I receive an email stating I have a new collections account added to my Experian report. I have no idea who this company is, I have never received a bill, never received a call, nor do I even know what this is for. But now, they have stopped me moving forward on my closing date. I will call them first thing in the morning and will expect an immediate explanation or this better be removed as fast as it was put on my credit report.
