    On 01/03/22 I dropped my car off with Able Auto due to my Check Engine light being on, I was told my car would be put on the Diagnostic machine to pin point the exact cause. I picked my car up, the Check Engine light was still on and I had paid them $281.31. Paul with Able Body told me to bring my car back but after them having my car for almost a week I couldn't bring it back right then, the next week I caught Covid and was out of work and couldn't bring my car back right then plus I had to save my money because I wasn't sure what was wrong with my car at this point and neither did they. On 07/11/22 I brought my car back and after waiting almost a week I was told my needed a Vacuum Pump and a Turbo Charger. I picked my car up on 07/22/22 a Friday morning. Check Engine light was off when I got into my car, later that day I was on my way to work and the Check Engine light came back on. I called and was told to bring it back but I couldn't bring it back until my off day the following Tuesday; however on that same evening on my way Home from work my car overheated and I almost was left on the side of the road. Able Auto failed to put antifreeze in my cooling system, I had to miss work and purchased antifreeze to put in my car after giving Able Auto Repair $2,002.02 to repair my car. On 07/26/22 I dropped my car off again about the Check Engine light. When picking up my car the light was off until the next day and I was told the replaced my MAP Sensor but didn't charge me but they gave me no paperwork explaining this. I had to bring my car back on 08/02/22, dropped my car off only to have the light come back on less than a week later. I called and asked for paperwork showing what was done to my car on 08/02 and was told it was the MAP yet again. I asked how they fixed the same sensor twice in a week and was told they weren't sure and no paperwork will be given to me about 07/26 & 08/02. At this point I want a refund of $2,283.33 my Check Engine light remains on

    i was told to check them out, took my parts and stopped there to get work done, they say we don't do work on cars unless we buy the parts, so i asked how much and it was $627 which i ask why is it that the parts i bought from a leading parts supplier were only $237. Oh we provide a warrenty on out work. Biggest joke i have heard, the parts i bought from autozone provide a warrenty on them too.

    I'm sorry you feel that you had a 1 star experience. You will find that most credible repair shops do not allow customers to bring in outside parts for multiple reasons. First, we are in the business to try to run a profit and one way of doing this is to mark up parts. This pays for the expensive garage keepers insurance that we have and the shop overhead. Second, if the parts are wrong then the car is torn down on our lift where we can't do other work and we have to wait on the customer to swap out the part for the correct one. The warranty that the service writer was talking about is on the labor not just the part. You don't bring food into a restaurant to have them make your meal we are in the same situation.

    I understand you have to pay for insurance but i have found no other repair shop that will not use the parts i buy if there life time warrenty were i am at in mobile. The main reason i came to your place was the labor was supposed to be on trade thur the barter company and i was going to be in the area shopping at the same time. As the parts are life time and there is a autozone 3 blocks from your shop i am sure if there had been a problem that it would have taken less than 10 mins to replace them. Excuses are only for those who take advantage of there customers. And tho you have to pay insurance i am sure its not as expensive as you say unless you have had a lot of claims which would mean your work is not very good.
