We engaged this company to store the belongings of our home for 1 year while we were in the process of rehabbing our new home. We chose this company because they claimed they stored everything in a temperature-controlled warehouse that had zero pests. They also assured us that they would take utmost care when it came to our more expensive furniture items. Their service was one of the more expensive quotes that we received but we were happy to pay it knowing our items would be safe and returned to us in the condition we left them. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When they moved our items back into the home, we had multiple pieces of furniture broken to the point where they could no repaired. Mouse droppings were found throughout our boxes and inside furniture. The movers themselves were even disgusted and said to take pictures and submit them to the office. The final straw was that we did not receive multiple items and the company claimed they no longer have them. I am shocked that they could get away with this pure negligence and would warn anyone to think twice before engaging with Callan Woodworth Moving. I documented all the damage and missing items, per the request of the company, and submitted two claim forms with $20,000+. The company responded saying they would reimburse $180. I can't help but feel taken advantage off, especially after we paid thousands of dollars to this company expecting them to keep our items safe and returned in whole.
