We are complaining about warranty repairs. We have never in 6 years called about any warranty complaints until now. 10 months ago we were meeting with ICI Home Sales to build a new home. At that time we told salesman we have 2 issues which need repaired. He said no issue we will get right on it. In the meantime an entire home was build 2 blocks away and was told while the guys were on new build would stop by. This never happened. Lo and behold new owners in their brand new home. We called and asked several times why our repairs were not done and given excuse after excuse. Finally I called corporate office after 10 months and they said did we put in a service warranty request. I said I had just done that but was never told we needed to do this. Hence we got part of work done over our porch but now was told we have to have a painter come back and paint our responsibility. This should be repaired and painted by ICI. The windows installed are terrible. Needed 2 replaced. Finally told windows are in but we have to pick up and have them installed. We agreed to pay for installation but assumed they would send window company out with window and have installed and we would just pay for the installation. The repairs which were minor but still need to be done and these were suppose to be covered by 10 year HOW. We are so unhappy with this builder. Needless to say we are going to build a new home but currently seeking out reputable builders who totally cover their warranty work.
