      Show up early, text dds when you arrive is there proceedure. However they wouldn't or did not respond after repeated trys. Then Ashby sends you a letter saying you missed the appointments. Additional billing for the missed appointments. Also a letter advising they no longer accept responsibility for Childs treatment. Occured twice. Same story. Inquired about situation. Disappointed in customer service & finger pointing. Never imagined how poorly I would be treated. Have several children. Thank God there are other orthodontist in town. Orthodontics is not an inexpensive process. Find another Dentist.

      This patient began treatment in 6/2019 and initially kept appointments well until 5/2020; after the appointment in 5/20 the patient did not come in for another visit until 11/2020- our records show the family was contacted several times to schedule an appointment however did not respond. The patients next appointment was in 2/2021 and appointments were kept regularly until 7/2021.  The patient was not seen again until 12/2021.  The signed contract states that patient cooperation/compliance and regularly kept appointments are necessary for treatment to be successful.  The contract also states that if a patient misses an appointment there is a $25 missed appointment fee that will be assessed.  Several (4) appointments were missed; the responsible party was charged only ONE $25 fee for a missed appointment and that fee was never paid and eventually written off.  When a patient arrives for their appointment they are asked to text the office and let us know they have arrived and we text the patient when we are ready for them to come in to be seen.  If a patient/parent feels they are waiting too long they are welcome to come into the office.  There is no "wouldn't reply" unless our system is down.  In this case an employee will go out and get the patient to come in for their appointment.  The letter received by the responsible party states they have 30 days to respond-this gives ample time and opportunity for the parent to call our office and inquire about continuing treatment.
