I took my car to this place (New Beginning) for a bumper replacement, which they kept for about 2 weeks to get the job done. The work was done appropriately and when I picked up my car, I noticed they had washed and vacuum my car and I thanked them for the good deed. It's only when I got in my car there was an odor that was unbearable. It was a smell of foul mildew (which I had someone else verify the terrible smell) and I immediately confronted the owner of the smell. He proceeded to say the smell was from the car setting up for that period of time. I told I had been in a car that have been sitting for a period of time and doesn't smell like that. I even told him he had repaired a car for me before (the reason I chose this facility) and it set up like that and it didn't smell like this. He replied rudely, "I am not talking about your other car!". He then tried to insinuate that I brought it in like that or maybe my kids spilled something in it. He then gave me an air freshener fogger to use and told me to drive around for a few days. I was willing to try it but again that smell was too much. When I got home, it just didn't set right with me, so I check my car over again and Lordy, the carpet was wet and visible wetness under it. I immediately return to the shop (5 min. away), had him (the owner) to come look at my findings. He did verify it was wet and told me to he was not taking responsibility. I asked him, how can my carpet and seats get wet when I brought my car for a bumper replacement. I told him, I left my car in your care with my windows rolled up and my car in excellent condition without this odor and the inside dry. He then conversated with another worker and then told me to bring it back on Tuesday that he would shampoo the carpet. (It's Friday...imagine the smell by then). Then I asked him for an invoice or a statement for the work to be done on Tuesday, because now, I really don't trust him. He rudely verbally refused! Bad business!. Beware!!
