      I purchased some prescription sunglasses online from Designer Optics and paid nearly $300 for them. When they arrived I found that they were made incorrectly: there was an aberration in the lens; the manufacture of the prescription was off. When I called and told them, they said that I had to ship the sunglasses back for inspection. After a few weeks I got a cryptic e-mail telling me they found no problems with the lens.I called and their customer service rep told me that I would NOT get a refund, NOT get a partial refund, or EVEN get a remake of my sunglasses! I was screwed! They accepted ZERO blame for their manufacturing blunder since "you provided the correct prescription". Their ONLY solution? BUY ANOTHER PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES!!

As we received the glasses, our team had our skilled optician examine the lenses using our state-of-the-art machinery, it shows that the lenses were crafted precisely according to your original order.       Hi.  Mr. ********* after looking into the issue, I'm pleased to share that one of the frames was delivered to you successfully.  We are sorry for the inconvenience as the 2nd pair was returned to us by ***.  Stated by *** "We were unable to deliver your package."  I assume this was not able to be delivered because of the signature needed and no one was home to sign for the package.  We are trying many days now to contact you via phone and email to discuss preferences to resolve this issue.  Please contact us at your convenience via phone are email.  We are here to assist and provide necessary support.

      This is not a legitimate company. They charged me for an order, cancelled the order and refused to give me a refund. They essentially stole over $126 from me.

      Designer Optics is an authorized retailer with many happy customers serving over 400 Designer Brand's. The order has been cancelled per your request. However, we weren't able to issue a refund because you have disputed the funds with the bank.

      Read the reviews! I wish I did. I ordered prescription ******************* Sunglasses on December 20th. They were just shipped and I received them today 1/17/24. They looked great. The frames were so wide they fell off my face. The screws were tight so It wasn't that. They are just made for a super fat head. The prescription wasn't right. I'm so over this company I would never do business here again. No return/no refund. Buyer beware!

We also offered the following: We are sorry for the inconvenience, however as per our policy, if you feel the prescription was done incorrectly, please send the glasses back to us, if we find an error on our end, we will redo the lenses for you.       It's a terrible company; they advertise frames on their site that they don't even have in stock. Once they have your money then they will look into ordering from the merchant directly (you could do this yourself). So they essentially take a few dollars to be a middleman in the transaction and it may take weeks or months for your frames to arrive. Zero response from their limited customer service. Don't shop here.

      Scam scam scam. Stay for away. Never order anything. They will tell you that magically they dont have the product and that they are in close contact with the manufacturer this is not true. They dont have the products, will never send it. Beware of them and ez contacts. Both in Brooklyn. Both ultimate scammers. Still waiting for them to return the money they stole. Pathetic.

      I used their measurements and sizing guide to find a pair of glasses for my son. The pair I got was huge and looked like clown glasses as a family member mentioned. Designeroptics refused to refund or exchange them, only to refund 80% of the frame price. They did reply to my request quickly, but it's really easy to respond when all you're saying is no. I should have just gone with coolframes.com like I did last year.

      Buyer beware. I should have read the reviews. Left transition lense works intermittently. I sent them a picture showing partial darkness. They wont refund of even just replace the one lense. I can send to them and IF they find faulty i think they will fix. Since it is intermittent i feel they wont find anything wrong. Stuck with faulty product.

      I ordered glasses after being diagnosed with a concussion and it impaired my sight. I tried ordering online but it didnt have an option for prism lenses. I called and customer service said to email them that they needed to be prism. I asked if there was an additional charge for that and was told no. I was also told they would ship in **** business days. A MONTH later I went to check on the status and was told I needed to pay another $40 for the prism lenses to have them shipped. The gentleman was VERY rude and I feel scammed. I would NOT recommend using this company.
