Where do I begin. I traded in equipment to use its value to purchase new equipment. Once I was notified of the delivery of my equipment to the warehouse my online account said it was going to take a 3 days for it to be evaluated. I also received an email that said it would take 5-7 business days to get evaluated. On the 9th business day I had called **************** for an update and was promised that I would recieve a callback or an email at the *** that day or the following. But to no avail I didnt receive anything. I called back again on business day 10 to which I finally was able to get my equipment appraised and place an order on new equipment. I was then told my order would process and ship out next day. It has now been 4 days since my order has been placed and it still has not shipped out to me. I called customer care again for a 4th time to which they assured me that I would recieve an email regarding my equipment being shipped out but have yet to recieve one. I would like to note that **************** did an awesome job with assisting ****** know its out of their reach to expediting my order but my experience with this whole trade in and purchasing process has been nothing but a nightmare.Adorama Camera Response

I am so sorry. I apologize for the confusion and the delay.The used item on the order could not be located to ship.When we realized this, we change the used SKU# to another one & ***# ******** shipped on 3/5/24 with next day delivery. It was delivered on 3/6/24Review from Michele L

The customer service here is terrible. I ordered ******** Pro Light Mods for 1x3' Softboxes, 2-Pack from Adorama, and they were never delivered. A box came with another part of my order, but I'm still missing those light mods. The bottom part of the box was not taped, and there were gaps on both sides. It has been nearly a week since I should have gotten them. So far, I have reached out to customer service three times, including this morning, however, they keep putting me off about having to do an investigation with the warehouse. Either the product was never put in the shipping box in the first place, or it slipped out of the bottom gaps of the box that they didn't bother to tape. In either scenario, this situation is not my fault. I'm not sure why I am being penalized for a lack of competence on their end. I paid for a product that I did not receive. I am so frustrated that they refuse to ship my product and don't bother to update me when they say they will. A couple of hundred dollars might not be that much to them, but to me, it meant sacrificing other things to afford that product. This lack of customer service is why people just order from Amazon instead of American businesses. They might not care about losing one no-name customer, but in the future, I will not consider them for my photography needs.Adorama Camera Response

Called in to ask about an item on backorder. As soon as I stated I was going to wait on ordering until stock arrived, I asked a following question and was hung up on promptly. Seems these guys at Adorama only care about taking your order and don't care about any other part of customer service. **************** is the worst.Adorama Camera Response

I'm sorry but it's not our policy to hang up on customers. Perhaps the representative believed the call was over after the customer dais he will wait to place his order till we have it in stock. I ordered a printer online from Adorama and have a charge on my card, money was taken out of my account. I then get an email saying my order was cancelled with no reasoning. I call customer service and they claim that the price was a mistake. The customer service representative was unable to show me anywhere on the website that the company is able to cancel items because of a price error. This company lied about my address, had the package return back to them and plans to leave me without a refund for 3 weeks despite all of the negligence falling under them, I'm being negatively affected by their poor service yet I am the one that has to face the consequences because they fail to deliver a package. They're holding my refund as if I would be responsible if they don't receive their package that they failed to deliver. I needed it my the deadline they say it would be delivered for college and now it's drastically affecting my degree.Adorama Camera Response

Ordered an used Mac mini online which stated that power chord was missing. The product got delivered and it won't even start up and when I called the customer service, they say they cannot take return to refund since it was sold as parts only. Used Apple Mac Mini Desktop ********* ***** Dual-Core i5 1.4GHz, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD (Late 2014) Parts Item Note:Cosmetic condition is V. The ************* I have ever Delt with.. Mr **** and co partner are TOP level scammers!! Rude Liers and after telling me 4000$ for my 3 month old nikon D6 that was GREY market Verified by Nikon, They changed the offer to ****?? Camera was Purchased from Adorama. Mr **** (After many many calls) agreed to ****. I explained to him i wanted a new nikon800mm Lens. Got this order set up and i received a very well used and dirty lens... From that point NOT a SINGLE returned call from anyone there!!! After 2 Weeeks of calling and calling sometimes twice a day with the only option to leave a message(which i did every time) I Finally quit and called customer service and was told an email would be sent..3 times C/S did this. Still Nothing... I gave up and took my loss and will NEVER do any kind of anything with them ever again.... I looked for someone else to talk to about this and i was directed to MR **** every time and again he never answered his phone so problem couldnt be resolved...PLEASE DO NOT DO ANY KIND OF ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY!! My recent trade-in experience with Adorama, specifically with ***************** from the trade-in department, left me dissatisfied and questioning the integrity of the process.I initially sought to sell my used camera and accessories (27items), and Mr. **** quoted me around $1000 for the trade-in. Despite considering selling only specific items, he persuaded me that opting for the trade-in would be more lucrative. Reluctantly, I accepted the offer, which included a **** Alpha a7R V Mirrorless Digital Camera Body and a **** FE *****mm f/2.8 ******* Lens.However, my discontent arose when I reviewed the order in my account. To ensure the camera's condition, I double-checked with Mr. ***** expressing my concern about receiving a preowned item. He promised me that a new camera would be sent to me. Regrettably, upon receiving the package, it was evident that the camera was not new; it had been used and opened before.This misleading representation of the product's condition has left me dissatisfied, and I feel compelled to share my experience. We are already working with this customer. We have to send his gear back, but he doesnt want to return the camera equipment he received from ** until after his gear is returned to him. but this is not an option/not possible.Review from Dewey B.

I think they are on the fringe of scamming people. Taking your equipment and giving you a low ball offer. They are impossible to get on the phone, no matter what number you call. *** dealing with them since Sept.Adorama Camera Response

I ordered an open box electronic piano for $2000 that was supposed to be in like new condition. What they sent me was an Amazon return without ******** or padding inside. An electric piano banging around with its periphery in a box and thats it. It arrived bent in the middle, causing three keys to stick, and two k**** were entirely broken off and missing. No foam, no padding, and the box itself was falling to pieces in my yard as the delivery man brought it. I cant even say for sure if the damage was caused by delivery, or it was already like this and no one even checked because they didnt bother packaging it appropriately before sending it to me. Complaining to customer service took three calls before hearing I would have to wait for their claims department to look at the photos I emailed before they would decide if Im even getting a refund for this. I am truly sorry for the mix up. This item was mistakenly added back to stock as an open box. We already submitted a transportable; damage claim with *** where they will be coming today to pick up the package and should be returned to us for Full Refund
