I bought two watches for ******. I took them to get them evaluated there so i could have them insured. They said they would get back to me in 2 weeks. After weeks of me calling them for updates and them telling me they would reach out to me, they finally told me that they can't evaluate the watches. Then they told me i can't return them or exchange them because it's been over a month. So i have to go to a private jeweler, but they view the watches as used now because it's been over a month (despite the fact that ive never worn them)The customer service and competence of ********************** is terrible.Cartier Response

The most disgusting service. Worse than any discount store. I took my bracelet to be repaired. Months later, I have been given nothing but the run around by two employees who should be fired--*********************** and ***********************. My bracelet band needed a new slip for the tongue. My bracelet was taken from me with an intact buckle. They lost the buckle. $350 dollars later they tried to tell me that the buckle doesn't come with the strap. They haven't found my original intact buckle and have done nothing to make things right. My bracelet, months later, is still there with nothing being done and no manager available to address the issue. I will never again spend a dime there. *******'s here I come. There is something really wrong with the Cartier organization. Stay away, spend your money where you are appreciated and respected as a customer. Not there!Review from Jennifer I.

I purchased a small model Tank Franaise watch from Cartier. When I got the watch, I noticed it was small (smaller than what I had anticipated). I tried it on a few times that night to see if it would grow on me and it didnt. I thought about it for about a week (without wearing it) and decided to return it. I got an RMA, and I did just that. I returned it for a refund, but my plan was to go into an actual boutique and pick one out there since the sizing, pictures etc. didnt give a good example of the size of the product. Once returned it took weeks to get an email regarding my return which was denied due to abrasions. They sent me pictures of the watch but no pictures of when they got the watch or before inspection. There were scuffs to the opposite side of the dial. How? How does that even happen? I didnt even wear the watch anywhere. Literally took it out of the box and walked around the house, put it back and did not touch it again. Yet this watch looked worn. It doesnt make any sense to me. They offered to polish it and relink it to fit my wrist which I agreed to feeling defeated. This morning I get up to an email with a quote for the polishing service of $ ******. First, they never mentioned the polishing was going to be at a cost and second $****** to polish a small watch. I understand its a luxury brand, but I ************ to have my Rolex fully serviced! After reading some reviews it seems like this is their go to when items are returned. I dont believe its fair! I am upset my returned was denied over what they call abrasions when I didnt even wear the watch to begin with. Second there are zero pictures of when my watch got to their warehouse (before inspection). When I sent that watch back, I looked at it and it was in perfect condition but the pictures they sent me dont match what I sent in. After this incident I will never purchase anything from Cartier again (not that they need my purchase).Review from Ritva T

I purchased a Cartier watch that I promptly returned the next day. It was received by Cartier on 09/26/2022. Today, 10/21/2022, Cartier is yet to issue me a refund.I have called Cartier multiple times. I was told it will take *********************************************************** original condition. I recently bought the SIGNATURE C DE CARTIER SUNGLASSES Ref. ********. After a couple of days I called Cartier because I have not received a tracking link yet. Come to find out they don't have the glasses in stock. Why on earth would you sell something that isn't in stock? It seriously makes no sense. Then the rep I talked to says that if they dont have the glasses from a boutique they will ship it internationally. Which can take 30 days. The estimated arrival date is supposed to be the 12th which im guessing im not going to get them by then. For $1,145 glasses and a brand like Cartier, they should be top of the line with customer service, but instead im given this problem. Once i get these glasses never shopping online with them again. Worst worst item ever!! Complete scam going on! Disgusting!!!I bought a cartier love bracelet. I got anxious as every time u have to use screw and unscrew to put it it on snd off. I got anxiety as it does not comes off easy and what if i loose the screw driver. I get panic attacks so much that i sent it back . I returned the bracelet with the box and they returned it back to me saying it has scratches without my permission! I wanted to exchange it for cuff bracelet . scams going on in the company!!!! Very disgusted and disappointed! This is the worst experience i've ever had dealing with a prestigious company like Cartier. Spoke with ******! Saying he makes all the decisions! They did not confirm address while sending back either! Irresponsible!! They should be ashamed of themselves. Unfair business practice!! BBB should stop Cartier e-Boutique's unfair practice.

Stringent refund and exchange policy. Refuse to exchange a wrong sized bracelet purchased through the e-boutique. Unfair business practice. All they care is profit, no customer satisfaction whatever. People buy a pair of shoes and expect them to fit, but with this high value jewelry piece, you just get stuck with what you get. BBB should stop Cartier e-Boutique's unfair practice.Review from April C

Cartier is working a scam on buyers who return good unused items and are not issued a refund. Cartier sends a letter back with the returned items, saying they are broken or damaged when In fact they are still pristine. The internet is filled with these complaints. I bought a $1900 gold ring for my daughter and because it was too small we returned it and I purchased a second one before receiving a credit. After 3 months Cartier returned the perfect ring to me and claimed it has horrible abrasions and can not be returned. There are dozens of similar complaints on line. Can anything be done on your end to help me get my refund?***********************Review from Anu F

Worse business ever . Bought 2 love bracelets for my young daughters. One of the screws in one of them did not sit flush. The other one was too small. Took the, to the ******* Cartier store week later, but that female manager is one of the rudest people I have ever co e across from.said there was scratches in both bracelets and didnt want to exchange after one week of receiving. we did try to put it on with the **** tool they sent. The scratch might be fro their tool they provided. These bracelets might be the most easy to scratch. Refused exchange after sending it back to Cartier. This company is going down the drain. No quality control in their over priced jewellery, and the worse is the ruthless customer service. Stuck with $15000.00 worth of ********* far away from this company .Review from Becky W

Ive received a gift from a family member, I lost the box pouch etc during moving. I emailed them and they said they can make an exception. I sent a picture of the certificate and emailed i for an reply saying they can only sent the replacement to the address on file. Ive told them it was a gift and since we moved the address is now different, after my email reply ive never got an email back since!!!! Im disgusted with service they provided for after sale care. I NEVER EVER WANT TO SHOP AT CARTIER AGAIN!
