      I purchased a 2008 ****** Outback on July 15,2008 along with an extended warranty.On June 28,2021 I started the engine it made a banging noise and shut off. It wouldnt start again. I had it towed on June 28,2021 . **** told me to leave the car. It needed a new motor .He told me it would be ready in 1 week.after several visits to the dealer and multiple phone calls. I finally got car back on August 17,2021. The a b s light was on **** told me to drive it for 100 miles it will reset and at that time he would do nys inspection.After one and half weeks all the lights came on and the car doesnt want to start. I brought the car back to **** with no resolution.

      This dealership is the worst place to buy a car. The list price for the car ******* friend purchased was for $15,000 and by the time we are done paying it it will be $30,000. We purchased a 2 year warranty and it was and is a waste of money because they don't hold up there end with the warranty. They .fixed the car before left the lot 2 weeks layer the check engine light comes on. Take it back n they say there is more thing wrong with it so they supposedly fix it and i have the bill for the repairs that were supposedly done that NEVER was because if they were the rear tires wouldn't be chewed up and ruin on both inside rear tires. I just recently took it back for work that needs to be done AGAIN that they said they repaired and will cost over $5000 to fix and now say my mileage is over on the warranty for 2 years. There is noway possible that could be. I contacted credit acceptance and they are now getting involve since it's financed through them and they would like to know why the payments are so high and why we are paying so much for the car to begin with. It's not worth $25,000 or $30,000 The car is a 2011 **** edge. There was numerous problems b4 it left the dealer lot and after even we took it back to be repaired. I think they just made a ******************* out knowing the fact I have 2 little toddlers I carry around in my car.

      Thank you for your review ****** however there is much information that you left out. The first statement that you have is due to an elevated interest rate which you were aware of that you would have to pay back as the bank charging that rate was the only one available to lend you the money for the vehicle, interest amounts are not something we are in control over. As far as your extended warranty that you purchased had the terms of 24 months or 24, 000 miles (which ever one comes first) when your first issue arose with the vehicle we were more than accommodating to your needs and made a service appointment with you as soon as possible however you were unable to leave your vehicle with us for any extended amount of time which made it extremally difficult for us to properly diagnose and repair the vehicle at no cost to you whatsoever. Our service department has 5 missed appointments for you which you did not show up to or you were unable to leave your vehicle for it to be serviced properly, at that time our sales department ********************** and **** have also reached out to you to have you bring your vehicle in for the repairs it needed. The very last appointment where your vehicle was brought in you had exceeded the warranty limits by ****** miles. This is an excessive amount of mileage and wear and tear on a vehicle in a short 7 month time frame. Unfortunately due to this fact we are unable to cover the cost of any repairs your vehicle needs at this time. This was all explained to you in great detail and the circumstance is not typical, usually these instances can easily be avoided by keeping up with scheduled maintence and repairs to your vehicle.
