Brought my vehicle to this dealership for a def system light. Was told that the cost for repairs would be over $1,000. When I informed them that the truck was still under the full bumper to bumper warranty they told me it would not be covered under the warranty, and I was responsible for the bill because I used the wrong fluid. I have had this truck for over 2 years and have used the same fluid since day one, which meets the specifications in the owners manual. Chevrolet customer service made attempts for a week to reach out to this dealership and they never responded. I was forced to take the truck to another dealership. When I picked it up and spoke to the service manager he was rude right from the start. They tried to say I caused the problem because I didnt use AC Delco fluid, which is not grounds to deny a warranty claim as per the ******** **** act. They then lied and stated that I came to the dealership, removed the plates, and told them to keep the truck, which is absolutely ridiculous. One of the service workers then told the manager to kick me the f*** out. Avoid this dealership at all costs they are liars and crooks!

This vehicle came into dealership with a check engine light, reduced engine power, speed reduced to 4 mph, poor fluid quality message, truck was in stage 10 warning level and DEF light on and flashing. Performed fluid quality test, which failed.DEF fluid contaminated. Like many fuels, additives, oils, and other liquid components of diesel engines, DEF is only safe and effective to use for a finite period.DEF expires after one year, assuming it isn't contaminated before then. Contaminated DEF fluid is not warranty.
