      Fayard Auto Parts is Gretna is the worse place to order parts from. They dont want to give you your money back, take forever to order your parts and will charge you a different price quote then given over the phone. I dont recommend anyone to order parts from this business and also if you do check them before you leave.

      Mr. ****** ordered a Cooling Fan Assbly for this 2006 ****** hybrid. The shop that informed Mr. ****** that his fans were "bad", mis-informed him and the fans were in fact good. Mr. ****** then in turn wanted to return the "specially ordered" fan assbly and we told him that it was a special ordered part therefore could not be returned. We understand that Mr. ****** is frustrated and disappointed that his mechanic misinformed him of the problem with his vehicle, but if you call any Parts dealership, you'll see that "ALL SPECIAL ORDERED Parts" are clearly not returnable for any and all reasons. We must stand by our policies for all customers, if we should break them for 1, then it would not be fair to all the other clients. We hope you agree and if not please give us a call and we'll try to make sense of it. ****

      ******* does bad service. He does not deliver on services he says he can. Hes a dramatic thief, he stole $2360 from us.

      Fayard Automotive Parts has been in business since ****. In the Automotive Parts Business when you purchase a part in which is not stocked on a normal daily basis, it's referred to as a "Special Order(s)". In ********************** case, she ordered a Diesel Engine for her **** E Series Van which is a Cut Away truck. It's definitely not a regular daily driver vehicle. This vehicle has a engine which is specially installed. She ordered it, stating it was a diesel engine, and in that year, make and model there is 7.3. ****************** came in and ordered the 7.3 diesel engine. After the engine arrived 2 to 3 weeks later, we went to ********* to look at the vehicle and the vehicle has a completely different engine. We called her to inform her that what she ordered and what she has are two different engines, she decided to change her mind and ask for a refund. We do not give refunds on "Special Orders" whatsoever. She became very upset (over the phone) and informed us we could shove the money where we do not want to state. The motor has been sitting in our possession and she still owes the balance and the rest of the shipping. We have not heard from her again 11/22/22. We'd like to work with her but she must understand that we do not do refunds on Special Orders. It's a norm in the auto industry, if you call any dealership and ask to return on ALL SPECIAL ORDER PARTS are non-refundable. We can exchange the engine but it'll be at the customer's expense. **********

      Owner is rude. Will quote you one price then change the price when you go to pickup the part. Never answer the phone and when you finally get a chance to talk to someone they scream at you then they hang up the phone.

      Ms. ******* is upset because we installed an "used Engine" in her grandson's vehicle and come to find out, he also needs a Transmission. We also installed a New Starter and the starter was hot wired by her previous 2 mechanics. When you hot wire a starter in, it's not going to work like it was meant to by the maker which is ******* of *******. We try to satisfy everyone, but we understand that everyone cannot be satisfied. If Ms. ******* wants to speak with management or the owner she can call ************ and set up a call back. Jf

      We also received a check back from her financial institution, and we informed Ms. ******* that her check's were no longer being accepted. We believe that this is what really fused her. When a client writes a bad check, we no longer accept any other forms of payment other than cash, this is our policy since 1967.Jf

      Horrible service over priced merchandise not direct with pricing his price goes up during conversation can never get a direct total sold a broken product for $868.00 now he dodging the car repair shop to replace the part or refund my money

      Client tried to find a non-stocking part everywhere ( even went to Mars) but couldn't find it. He called Fayard Automotive and we had it at one of our many suppliers. We couldn't guess the amount of shipping it would've taken to get it here, that's the reason why he had to pay extra. The client was well informed he would have to pay an additional amount to get the part to ***********. Heck, if he could've found it here in the city (N.O) he wouldn't have paid us his/her hard earned money. We apologize if the amount to get it here was too much, but it's the courier fee is why he's upset. Don't kill the messenger. lol . Plz tell the client we sure appreciated they're business and we stand behind our products. Used parts for 30 days and new parts come with a 1 year warranty.

      Customer tried to use our part to see what he/she's problem. You cannot use our parts to play Doctor, a "special order" is what it is called. A "special order" is non-refundable on any circumstance. It's a non-stocking part therefore, we cannot return any part specially ordered. If you call any major dealership in the country, all are normal business transactions " all sales are final with special ordered parts".
