Great locally owned business and reasonable prices! Best tree care in **********!

We hired B&G Trees who gave us a quote of $206/hour. They said itll likely take a half day. Workers (who were great) were here from 9-11am and the owner for about 15-20 minutes of that. Even though they only spent 2 hours here the owner charged me the full half day cost of $825 and he told me its because he helped. Thats an overcharge of $412. Even if they charged me for when they left at 8am, thats an overcharge of $206. I even had his worker call to clarify the charges and the owner still said $825 with no explanation for an hourly charge.The workers were so nice and efficient, thats the reason for the 1 star! The worst part about it, is when I had the worker call the owner the owner blamed the worker for the full half day charge saying that because his worker had questions about my (totally ordinary trees) he had to stick around. I was unaware that the owner's time was $200-$400 for 30 minutes. When I insisted they provide me with an invoice, they added more charges (they charged me per employee and not hourly as they had verbally quoted) and they charged me EVEN MORE money on the invoice. It was very appalling. Be warned. I have since found out you can find companies who maintain appropriate regulations so they cannot commit fraud. Stick with those companies instead! "
