The Co, was originally called Fall of 2020) to repair/clean an installed unit, the cleaned it, but it would not work after they. The team said the Co could replace, but not repair the old unit. A team came, examined and said they carried units to replace the current unit. We explained we used the unit not as a house heat source b some heat, but mostly flame abidance in the family room. The said to look over an online catalog or the type we would want. We identified the Enviro units as most similar in looks and something like that was what we wanted. We were given an amount to cover the cost of the unit and told we need to pay that for them to order it. we did so and the unit was delivered. However, upon attempting to install they said that I would have to get a Propane certified plumber to move the propane feed because the unit would not fit in. I arranged for that to be done, they came back installed the insert, but instead of using the electrical outlet under the old unit, they plugged the unit into a wall outlet. I had to arrange for an electrician to change it. Shortly after that (April 2021), the front screen fell off the unit. I looked at it and none of the nuts/bolts to attach the screen to the unit had been installed. I installed the hardware that fastened the screen to the unit. After that we noticed the underside of the mantel to be a lot hotter than with the previous unit. Concerned about this I called and was assured the unit was installed correctly. Again I called about this and pointed out the unit was advertised for an 1800 sq ft, area, way too big for our 240 sq ft room In the fall of 2021, we notice that even with the unit operating at the lowest flame setting the room would quickly get too hot and we would have to turn it off. I call about it and was told to just set the temp lower. We wanted the unit, like our last unit to be on but with low heat output so as not to repletely cycle between on & off or dive us out
