      I've been a member of this HOA and neighborhood since the day it was built before the HOA was even established. Their price for their annual dues seem to rise yearly and now recently with last meeting they are rising again with the bill shown. Quote on quote due to a lawsuit that they sustained last year and now we are covering the costs? Last year I was giving a day notice about the do which I paid and never had problems paying. The eCheck that was processed was declined and without any notification was sent to collections. Calling collections and taking care of it and having to pay the ridiculous amount shown with the attachment and confirmation number. I then reached out to the HOA. ******** **********, in other words, responded that they were going to take care of my delinquent setting and allow me to gain access again to their website. After checking to try to submit plans for additions to property, still not allowed to get on the website. After opening the mail today receiving the new bill and trying to log on to pay the bill again denied access. There is no follow-through with this property management and their bullying tactics seem to be channeled to certain individuals in this neighborhood. To be honest, I know that I am not the only one in this neighborhood that does not share the same feelings and outlook. ******** ********** plays the part and acts as if they are doing their duty, the funds for higher maintenance in the neighborhood do not show. We have one of the dirtiest neighborhoods and this has been going on for years and been brought up in meetings. Being one of the first founders of this subdivision, I think that this company needs to be looked at deeply and now raising the price for their lawsuit on us I believe has to be illegal. Some serious action needs to be taking here, especially at the time of need that our country is going through.

      We are members in 6 local HOAs through our rental properties, Westgate has been the least transparent and most lacking in communication of any management company we have had to deal with. The lack of detail in information, omissions on the financials for special assessments in the tens of thousand dollar range, obtaining loans and not sharing what the loans are for and omitting then from the financial has been the most frustrating experience with any management company. I have repeatedly have had to request mistakes be fixed on the financial report and have waited as long as 1 year to get accounting for expenses spent. I have copied and pasted the ** Condominium Act to show this company what they are supposed to do and they ignore my messages. This is not the experiences you want from a company that talks a good deal about community building but with our HOA has failed to deliver.

      I am the owner of WestGate Properties LLC and responding to this customer's comments on the BBB site. First, thank you to BBB for giving our customers an avenue for expressing their concerns. We manage over 70 communities with several thousand happy homeowners. Unfortunately it's the unhappy homeowner that takes the time to spread the word. I've reviwed the correspondence with this homeowner. On Juanuary 7th an inquiry was sent to the Board of Directors, myself and many others but not the manager that this customer knows is responsible for the community. When this homeowner reached out to the manager, she received a prompt response. I personally met with the homeowner prior to the annual meeting, which took place on 1/30. The owners in attendance were sufficiently comfortable with the financial reporting and budget that there were no objections, including from this complainant. If there is anything more she needs, she knows that she can reach out to me. I noticed that, prior to January, the last time she emailed was December, 2021. Considering the many financial challenges in the community in question, the Board of Directors and WestGate Prperties have done the best job possible in its management.
