Giving Sunset ****************** one star is a PUSH! The business took a $2500 downpayment on a boiler on 10/31/23 and after collecting another $2,500 on Dec. 1, 2023, finally delivered and installed a boiler on December 9, 2023; leaving our household with no heat through some of the coldest, snowy days in ********. No bid was ever mentioned, with the statement of somewhere between $5,000 and $6,000 being spoken. Business now presents an invoice for $8040.68. This invoice has no Model Number, no Serial number listed for the boiler; but the boiler is listed as ******* BTU. I was told by a business member that the unit was ******* BTU. In addition, the company invoice lists Sales Tax. There is no sales tax in Santa Fe County. This company presents itself as caring about a homeowner, but it is the EXTREME opposite. Buyers BEWARE.

This customer ordered their own boiler which was the wrong size!! Too big for their home!! Therefore that delayed us from doing the job much faster because of the snowy and cold weather at hand! Sunset Plumbing did Nothing Wrong! If the customer would of let us order the correct boiler right from the start, there would of been no delays! Or problems! I went all out to try and get their old Boiler up and running to give them temporary heat, I also offered her electric Heaters to use while we were waiting for the correct boiler that I ordered to arrive! They waited til the last minute to have their boiler fixed! During the busy winter season, Boilers are like hot cakes! Supply houses run out of stock because of the high demand for Boilers! We did Nothing wrong! And I totally Disagree with any Negative comments from this customer!! All we did is try to get them a new boiler installed right away which I had to order and wait for, that was not our fault! The job has been completed for almost a month now, And I'm still waiting for my final balance to be paid!! Which they still have Not Paid!! I regret doing business with this customer!! It's customers like this! I can surely do without!!! They try to blame us for their actions! Like Ordering the wrong Boiler and so on!!! We have lots of Happy Customers that would be more than willing to vouch for us and Sunset Plumbing & Heating!
