I purchased a used 2019 mobile home which was originally purchased from zia according to sales representative Mike B********* SR. Mike said they bought it back from a single lady who just wanted to move back to Colorado. It was sent up on an existing Xi 2 system and in good condition. We bought the mobile home on or about 9/27/21. When delivered and set up at our property the Xi 2 system was not installed. When I asked Mike said " CID and MHD inspectors REQUIRE new Xi2 systems". I said ok can I purchase one then? Mike said they were $1,865.00. I made zia a check and the Xi 2 system was installed. I contacted CID and MHD and when I asked if I HAD to use a NEW Xi2 system, they said nope whom ever said that must of wanted your money. They have never heard of that and they pass inspections all the time with reused Xi2 systems. I then called Mike again, told him what was said and he changed his story. He said " it's our policy to only use NEW Xi2 systems and if it was me I'd want a new one". I said "well it's not you and you NEVER SAID it was your policy. You told me CID and MHD inspectors REQUIRED a new system". I asked for a refund and to install my old system with no answer. Mike told me he would see what he could do to get me my money back. He would talk with Carlos the owner. I eventually was contracted by Carlos the owner whom was RUDE and was of no help an this issue. He wanted to address the other issues that were encountered with my mobile home.(not level , damaged skirting etc.)he said he would get back to me and I haven't heard back since 11/18/21. I had numerous issues and all they care about is money. I was never even given an opportunity to do an inspection on my home because of no utility connections but mike said call the bank and just answer yes to their questions. I did without realizing it was so they could fund Zia for the purchase. I'm still waiting for refrigerated air unit to be connected and have gone through a nightmare with this business!
