            Late July - I spoke with service desk to make a reservation. I noted that my stay would be about 2 weeks. The service desk said, "no problem, I will make it for two weeks and you can adjust prior to your departure." August 2 - Started staying in hotel *****. August 5 - I started noticing ants periodically. mostly by bed nightstand and lamps (small ants). August 7 - I set up my computer at the desk near window/AC. While using computer through the night I noticed ants on computer, desk, and periodically crawling on me. August 8 - (computer still set up). Purchased subway and was eating while using computer. Noticed ants crawling on food wrapper and on me. At this point I was started to want to leave. That night, found ant crawling on me in bed. August 9 - I was not able to make alternate arrangements until after work. Spoke with reception desk that afternoon, requesting early departure. Receptionist changed dates on computer and said, "computer took change, no problem." I was not aware of hotel policy that customer must pay for all unused dates, no exceptions. 2nd Customer was in area at time. I planned to checkout the early next morning and mention there was an ant problem that needed to be addressed. Ants were a significant problem. August 10 - (General Manager at desk). Not aware of hotel policy, I turned in keys and requested receipt (planned to mention ants after). General manager stated that hotel policy is customer must pay for all days - No exceptions. Manger provided corporate contact number. I was shocked, short on time, and customers were in reception area. I did not argue and called customer service a couple of hours later. August 10-25- Contacted customer service. Corporate customer service agrees refund is due, and they will contact manager. After numerous follow up phone calls (about 5), customer service said they made numerous attempts to contact hotel manager to get refund, but did not get a response. (case#********).
