              On 2/28/22 I visited my dermatologist to ask some questions about mole removal and the cost. I went in there knowing it was a cosmetic issue and that there was nothing wrong with the moles. When I got there Dr. P****** asked me if I was there for an annual skin check, which I was not. Like I said before I just had a few questions. I paid them $25 when I got there which is the fee to hold the appointment. I was not even there for 10 minutes and they are telling me that I owe $143.78. I believe they are trying to charge me for the annual skin check which is not what I wanted, all I wanted to do was ask a few questions. The dermatologist was also very rude and acted like she didn't have time for me which is part of the reason I was only there for such a short time. The business has reached out to me to tell me that I owe them the $143.78 saying they will turn it over to collections if I don't pay within a certain amount of time. I told them what happened and that I don't believe that is a fair price and they told me that there is nothing that they can do. They didn't prescribe me any medication or anything like that, all that happened was that my questions were answered while I was being rushed. I believe that the fair price for that appointment was the $25 that I already paid.

              Western ************** clinic is not willing to accommodate hearing impaired people. They will not accept my requests to send appointments via text messages or email. *** advised them that I am hearing impaired and cannot use the phone. They kept telling me to call their office. And they sent me a link to request an appointment. However, the alert box says that please schedule by calling at their office numbers. This really defeats the purpose of requesting appointments online. They were not making efforts to help me. I ended up with a different clinic who I found to be super friendly and supportive AND actually accommodated my requests without any issues.

Unfortunately, due to the various insurance companies we have contracts with, we are limited in what we can do with online scheduling. We will email you and again, we are sorry for the problems you have getting the help you need.
