            My Father passed away on March 23rd. I had to wait 10 days before I could close his bank accounts and pay off the funeral home. When I did, they were supposed to get ahold of the V.A and start the paperwork for his funeral. A week later I get a phone call at work from the person doing the funeral asking if I paid yet, so he can start the process with the V.A. So, there was no communication from the receptionist and him. Then after they got the V.A. paperwork done, he told me the funeral was going to be at 3:00 p.m. A day and a half before my father's service I got a phone call telling me he missed up the time and it's at 1:00 p.m. It's been 3 days since my father's service and I'm still getting texts and calls from people who are upset that they missed his service. They made one of the hardest things I have ever gone through so frustrating, I am so disappointed that I picked them for my father's funeral.

            We all here at ******* feel terrible for the time discrepancy that was communicated. Our management team has reached out in person to express our concerns about this event being misquoted. We service over **** families a year, and to my knowledge, has never happened before. We have assigned continued education to the director who was involved, and have had a company wide meeting to address the breakdown that occurred on the administrative side. I know that none of that will bring you the resolve you needed on the day of your dad's funeral, but our hearts are truly with you.
