If I could give negative stars for Compliance Services ******** I would. I couldnt agree MORE with the complaint previously filed and copy and pasted below. Shame on Compliance Services ******** for trying to essentially con people out of $75 for a periodic report you can file online for $10. The original poster of the complaint below echos my sentiments exactly! I received a letter from this company that is obviously impersonating an official government agency of ********. The letter eventually says they are not a government agency, and that they are a service company, but this is buried in the letter, underneath legislation explaining the penalties for failure to pay. Either the design of the letter and envelopes needs to be extremely clear that it is not from the ******** Government, or there needs to be a very obvious explanation of their services that is not buried, stands out immediately, and cannot be missed. Businesses like this prey upon **** and gullible people, as well as those who are not well informed, or are in too much of a hurry or under a lot of stress to discern that this is not an urgent or important topic to address. It is a meaningless solicitation. Companies like this should be given an F rating for their predatory practices, lack of transparency, and obvious intention to mislead people.
