I am writing to you because I need your assistance to resolve a warranty problem issue. I am hoping that your assistance will prevent further legal action. I am willing to sit down with the dealer and your representative in ordef to resolve this dispute.
I recently purchased on September 26 2022 a 2008 Chevy Colorado pick up from:

The dealer warranty on this truck was for 500 miles. During the week of September 20 the check engine light went on. I took it to the dealer and the crank sensor was replaced by dealer. After several days the check engine light went on again. I again took it to the dealer. Turns out the camshaft phaser and the timing chain need to be replaced.
During the negotiations from the week of September 26th 2022 to approximately 3 weeks later, I exceeded the 500 miles. The odometer reading at time of purchase was 136489. Once the odometer reading exqeeded 136989 the dealer took the position that the vehicle was no longer under warranty. It is my position that since the problem with vehicle first appeared during the week of September 26th the vehicle is under warranty. Therefore it's my position the dealer is responsible for the repairs. The repairs will cost about $1650.
