This is for the service ***** First off, our service advisor, ********************************* was great!. Our problem was with the tech person's incorrect diagnosis. Our invoice # is ******. Scenario: 1) *** X5 was towing a camper trailer from Colorado, 2) Our tow vehicle rear auto-leveling suspension failed ~ 2/3 of the way to Santa Fe, 3) Drove car to *********** Sandia BMW, 4) Diagnosis was that a ************* Controller had failed & the only place to get it was in *******, which would take 1-2 weeks to to get, 5) We had to tow our camper home in 6 days, but with what? 6) Found a U-**** box truck with a tow hitch, which was our mode of transportation for the week, 7) ~ 2 hours from home, we got the call that the car was ready, 8) Flew one-way to ***********, 9) When we got to Sandia, ******* told us that the tech installed the part from *******, 10) That didn't fix the problem!! 11) On further investigation, the tech noticed that the rear air suspension sensors were installed incorrectly, 12) The tech removed the sensors & installed them correctly.Our cost for the airline tickets to get back to ******************************* rental truck was $1395.This is on top of paying $766 for labor costs.

I took my Mini in for a new battery and the tech sent a msg that my transmission seals were leaking and need to be replaced and my belts were cracking. It was going to cost at a minimum of $830. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this and I hadn't seen any signs of a leak on my garage floor, so I declined the service and took it to another mechanic that I trust and got a second opinion. They put it up on the rack and did an inspection. He called me back to show me what they were looking at and there was not any leaks at all. Long story short.....Sandia was trying to get more money out of me for service that was not required! Such a scam and to take advantage of a once loyal customer but never again will I go back. BEWARWE!!!

Be Aware of on financial matters. These dealer won't allow the military community to buy a vehicle here is they are out of state. NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY also. According to the vendor Ms. ************************** The manager who's name is ***************** won't sell a car to a client if they are using their own bank or a military out of state. I want to think is that and not because I am a latino. Please go to another dealer to avoid hassle with these one. Thank you for not supporting the military community.
