For two years I lived at Solaire where things were great until you took over in Dec 2021. January I started having issues with my electric bill being $500-$600, this shouldn’t be happening in a tiny apartment. I reach out, nothing. I also begin to experience YOUR COMPANY violating the terms of my lease. We were receiving an employers discount from the previous rental management company that was written in our lease that YOU weren’t honoring when you purchased the apartments. So, your manager sends me an eviction letter (because your manager also told me to pay the amount without the discount and “she’ll work on it”). Unlucky for you, AMC, my father in law owns several rental properties in NM knows the laws and quickly retained an attorney and we wrote a cease and desist which we gave to your office in March. One: for our discount. Two: for our windows that had two in gaps leaking water in and making our electric bill $500. Alright so we give you the cease and desist. Jacqueline actually responds for the first time ever, says we can’t get new windows until may and she’s working on the discount. The discount doesn’t get applied until may and guess what! No new windows. I walk into your office May 3rd for an update, Jacqueline says “no windows until June, because you’ve been patient, I’ll waive your cleaning fee and carpet fee at move out”. Cool whatever. June comes around, a window guy shows up. Your manager didn’t order enough windows, so the contractor couldn’t do it. July comes around, we put our notice to vacate. And here we are… September. I get rent on the portal, shows the full month, NOT prorated. I call Isabell, she calculates it for me. Assured me that the remaining balance will fall off. September 16, I go in and talk to Naomi. She again reassured me we won’t be charged the carpet and cleaning fee as it is on the notes in our account. And that again, the remaining rent balance will fall off. Yet here I am being charged for BOTH!
