The worst experience I have ever had with a plumbing company. Lane Plumbing was hired by another member of my family ( who was visiting from out of town) to fix a gas line at my mother's house. My mother is 79 years old with dementia and when my family member left back home I had to take over the process. The plumbers came and started the work and we were told that we would need the service manager to give her a final estimate for the work. He called her on the phone and talked to her about the estimate , after me telling the receptionist, and the plumber that my mother had dementia and that they had to talk with me because she wouldn't remember or understand what she would have to do. They talked to her on the phone and I guess she told them not to talk to anybody else about this repair, so I was cut out of the process and they proceeded to give her an estimate over the phone, which she neither understood or remembered. I called the office and the rude woman there told me it wasn't her problem and she switched me to her bosses voice mail ,(the one who left here the phone estimate) and I left a message for him. Never to hear anything back from anyone in the company. Had multiple people trying to contact them to follow up with my mother, she was left for weeks without gas. I do not live in town, so being there on the day the plumber showed was not possible. We ended up going to the office in person and being told that there was no owner, or manager that we could talk to . He was out of town! the woman that we had been talking to was yelling at us and saying that she was getting yelled at ************** for the same problems we were having. So this is obviously par for the course in this company, Needless to say we hired another company. Anyone thinking about hiring this company better think twice, you may end up regretting it.
