We booked a vacation back in March 2020, to cruise on Royal Caribbean in July 2020. Covid hit, no cruise sailed and we cant get our $900 back. Liberty says Royal wont refund us , only a credit. Its almost 2 years, Covid is still around and we no longer feel that its safe to cruise anymore. A $900 refund should apply.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out and allowing us the opportunity to look into this further. Upon further review, the cruise booking was canceled prior to any cruise suspensions. The guests were offered a cruise with confidence future cruise credit with Royal Caribbean for the amount of their deposit. We have reached out to Royal Caribbean, on the customers behalf, to request a refund of the future cruise credit. Unfortunately, they have denied this request. Liberty Travel is a travel agency that provides booking services to its customers. Liberty Travel acts only as an agent. In this role, Liberty Travel books travel services for its customers with individual cruise lines, airlines, hotels, such as Royal Caribbean. The operational decisions made by these travel suppliers are outside the control of Liberty Travel.Review from Julie L

We requested a cash refund from Norwegian Cruise Line on June 8th 2021. We were told it would take 90 days. Our refund from Norwegian Cruise Line was issued on June 24th 2021. For some crazy reason, it was given directly to Liberty Travel and not to us. It is now September 24th 2021, and no one from Liberty Travel contacted us to let us know that it had been processed. We called Norwegian Cruise Line because it's been over 90 days and that's when we realized it's been 3 months and Liberty Travel has our money. Liberty Travel is now claiming they have to go find the reservation and date of transaction and verify giving us no time frame on when we will get our money back. This place is a total scam. Run like the wind and never use them ever again.Flight Centre Travel Group Response
