1 star given because no other choice! These people are legal scam artists!! My vehicle failed mechanically ( while leaving on my lunch break ) on port authority property. AAA was called but once port authority came onto the scene they called their towing company and had my vehicle towed.i was told they had to tow it to their location that closed by 5pm and as long as I was there to retrieve it by the same time the next day I wouldn't have to pay storage. I gets to B&L TOWING and I'm told that my bill was a whopping almost $300!!! Looks like $4 a mile for 12 miles and the rest was 2 day storage, taxes, toll, and hook up!! I know for a fact that toll for me was under 4 dollars and the charged $12.almost $300 and they had my vehicle for less than 24hrs!! I was told that they charge 1 calendar day ! So, of it comes in at 11pm that's 1 day and 12am is the second day even though it's only been an hr!!! If that's not the most craziness I've heard in a while!!! When I got the l there, the lady at the front totaled me out at the full amount!! She said $260 please....i said $260!! I was told by the tow driver that no storage fees if I picked my car up by today...she called the driver, he acknowledged that YES he told me that. She gets in the phone and calls someone over to talk to me. This guy tells me " I am aware that the driver told you no storage but that was in correct.....what he should've told you was that the first day is free, so with that being said I've given you a $40 off. Now wait a minute!! You're telling me that's what the driver meant to say but when I first got here the lady at the desk was charging me 2 days!! So what is it. 1st day free or 2 calendar days?!!!! Because if that's what he meant to say then why wasn't she giving me my first day free from the rip!!! Then he wants to get an attitude and starts talking s*** " listen, as a courtesy I'm giving you 1 day free! It ain't my fault your day broke down and a whole bunch of other nonsense!!! LEGAL RACKET
