ZERO stay away from this place. There is no way to get in contact with anyone if you have any issues with your orders. I requested a refund with my bank and they have time to fight the charge back but still no way to get a hold of them Ridiculous. Their costume quality is garbage

I ordered an elf costume for a December 5 event where I was to be one of Santa's elves.The original order date was 11/15/2021. The costume arrived 12/13/2021. It is still in the original packaging unopened. When I inquired about returning it, I was told the return shipping would be about $30 and I would also have to pay for the original shipping cost which added together is more than the costume cost!!! I was told that perhaps I should rethink returning the costume.The Costume Center is shady... PLEASE do not order from them! I do understand that the return information stated I would be responsible for the cost of shipping if returned but $30... come on!AND a month to arrive when indicated it would be about 2 weeks is absurd!! It's a scam!!!!ZERO Star rating!!!!!!

Ordered a Santa costume in early November. Was too large so sent it back before Thanksgiving. It was returned brand new in the original packaging. Company did not refund. Had to call to check on return. They stated that it was returned used & damaged. It was not used or damaged. What a scam. Don't order from them unless you have money to blow. Now we are out the money for the costume and the shipping. negative 10 stars

This should be a big fat 0!!! Zero!!!!!!!The ************************* costume I purchased was in different size pieces of the uniform! I ordered a large which is larger than my normal size of medium. The blouse top was a little big and the tie was too long but I wasnt going to complain on that because I could make that work. The white vest was one size too small! The white shorts were not hot pants material and they were like a size 1 or extra small!!! Would fit a 6 year old child!!!!!! The belt same size as the shorts!! Guess that was consistent!! I emailed Costume Center and told them of the issues. They told me that this is how the outfit is supposed to fit and sent me the picture of the DCC in uniform!!!! This is same picture sent with costume. I emailed my response as to say that I am clearly aware of how it should fit and sent pics of me with the outfit on obviously showing the difference in sizes!!! They blocked my email because it was sent back to me and said that address was no longer available!! I would like to give this rating of a zero and get this message out!!!!! I did not receive a refund nor an exchange for items too small or even full outfit in the correct size!! I am very disappointed!!

******************* order never arrived. 3 requests for refund, still no refund. Am told, through email, that theyve made 3 sep. mistakes and to keep waiting for refund, No physical address on website, phone # wont get to live customer service. Been 45+ days and not refunded yet.

I would put 0 stars if I could. I ordered 2 100 person party kits for the New Year's Eve Party at our local American Legion. The price was $366.72 which included tax. No problem. Shipping was free because it was over $75. This was online from birthdaypartyinabox.com. I did not get an order confirmation which was odd. I did receive a shipping confirmation which showed a $300 shipping charge. I knew it had to be a mistake. Emailed the company and got no response although was supposed to get a reply within 8 hours. So I called them and they confirmed the $300 was correct for shipping. WHAT??? That can't be right. They said I agreed to it -which I did not. They said it was ground shipped by a special means so that is why the cost was so high. Nope. Shipped ****** IT IS PAPER HATS not a car. Then they said it was my fault that I agreed to it. After an hour on the phone they would not give me further names, numbers or emails to contact. I filed a complaint with PayPal. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General in ************ and I will also file one in New Jersey since that is the company base. I finally found another customer service number (also in SD) with a different operating name listed on my **************** ****. I called them and at first they said it didn't look right that he would check. He came back and said they had to charge more for shipping because those items are hard to get this year so they added the cost to the shipping. WHAT??? You can't that. I can return them but they will not refund the $300 shipping charge. It is such a scam.

I ordered girls boots according to the size chart on the website, they sent the wrong size. I called and they said they saw the error and were sending the right size. The wrong size came again. This time they have changed the listing on the website so the sizes are listed by numerical size vs small to large and claiming that I ordered the wrong size based in how it's listed now and refusing to send the correct size that I initially ordered AND said if I returned for a refund I would have to pay return shipping, wouldn't be refunded the original shipping and would be charged a restocking fee. For their mistake. Never ever order from here. It's cheap for a reason and not worth it.
