This service has been a complete waste of money. I have seen the same men on other dating apps, and only had one day in over 10 months. I have had numerous excuses, and still no dates. I take care of myself, exercise, and eat, right. The one date I had he said he wasn’t even a member they found him on match.com and the other date I had was not a good match either. To pay that kind of money to have two dates is ridiculous. I am in a very large women’s group and have shared my experience with them. I asked for a refund and they continue to avoid the question and give me excuses.

Betsy, This review is an inaccurate representation of your time with Midwest Matchmaking. You did have three dates that were set as well as 13 matches that were presented to you. One of the dates you choose to cancel on your own. The other two you went on and you expressed in your feedback that you liked both these gentlemen. Unfortunately, they were not interested in a second date with you. We do have a large database of eligible singles. Some of our clients are recruited outside of our existing database, which we do not hide from our clients, and it is very common in the matchmaking industry. We have not, however, used Match.com as a resource for recruiting. This is an inaccurate statement as well. While we are sorry you didn't find a life partner with the help of our service, we did provide a good number of matches, and you did express that you did enjoy your dates. Dating is hard. Dating is even harder when you haven't dated in a long time. Being a single mom and a professional, I did not want to put myself out there on *********. I've watched way too many episodes of "Catfish" to even consider it. I came to a point in my life when my kids were leaving or had left the home and I knew the time was right. Finally. But where do I start? I had heard about matchmaking services so I went where everybody goes: Google, and I found Midwest Matchmaking. I was really hesitant to try it, but I knew that I had to take that first step. Courtney and her staff made it so easy. They are super responsive and listen to what you want in a match. I went on several "Introductions" but after a few, I finally found my match and couldn't be happier. He was super lucky and found his match with his very first introduction! If you are even just thinking about it, give it a try. It may take several dates, but with each date, you're learning more about yourself and what you want so when the right match comes along, you know it as we did.

Very impersonal. Have not felt chemistry with a single introduction. Refuse to have phone call to clarify miscommunication in email.

After several attempts to accommodate this client and her wishes, our service was unfortunately unable to meet her expectations.
While our service's expertise is able to account for several factors, the ability to foresee "chemistry" is not a factor we can easily and instantly gauge.
After several attempts to correct the client's experience, we were unable to make beneficial progress. As much as we wish we were able to quickly find someone for everyone, there are still factors we can not materialize without participation and communication from all parties. We wish this client the best in the future and look forward to working with our participating clients.

I had a very good experience with Midwest Matchmaking. They made meeting quality women much easier for me than what I was trying before. All of my matches were great people, and I met my wife after about 6 dates. There is no way we would have crossed paths had it not been for Midwest Matchmaking. I am very glad I joined their service and recommend it to everyone I talk to who is single.
