I purchase my 2014 Ram used in April 2015. It had about 15,000 miles on it and knowing how Rams have terrible transmissions I decided to purchase the extended warranty. The warranty was supposed to cover the vehicle for 84 months and 100K miles. I did not use the warranty until April 2021 when the exhaust manifolds warped and broke the studs. I took it in to have it fixed and was told that my extended warranty ran out. They kept my vehicle for a week and every time I called I was told that they were working on getting the extended warranty to cover the repair otherwise I'd have to pay $1500 out of pocket. They were nice enough to loan me a vehicle but that was about the extent of it. They finally called me and said it was fixed so I came in to pick it up. I asked what they did to fix the issue and was told that they just replaced the studs. I asked why the didn't repace the exhaust manifold because everything I read says the manifolds warp and that's what breaks the studs. I was informed that they don't replace the manifolds. I was told that the original studs were sent pre-stretched? What? I then called and left a voicemail for the finance manager, waited two weeks for a call back...nothing. I went in and they found the finance lady that sold me the warranty. She said that they put the in-service date on the warranty paperwork from the original date of purchase, when the truck was sold new not when I purchased the truck. I asked why would I pay for the previous owner to have a one year extended warranty on the truck. She said she remembered saying something to me when I purchased the truck about the in-service date. I told her that's impossible seeing that I purchased the truck in 2015 and it's 2021 now. She basically lied to my face. Do not be swindled into buying from them and especially the extended warranty program. I will never buy anything from them again.

Every time we took my Jeep Overland into Baxter for service (since we bought from them) it has been one issue after another. We would take it in for one thing and then leave with more issues than we started with. We have been telling them for over a year that there is something wrong with the engine, and it is idling rough. The looked at it two times this past year and each time said they found nothing - magically now that the warranty has run out, they finally discovered there is metal chips in the camshaft and a screen is missing and I have an option to either pay $10k for a new engine or they recommended having a salesman talk to me about trading it in. Are you kidding me??? First off, that is the only service department to ever touch my Jeep so, where did the screen go? Why did you not detect these issues before the warranty ran out when it was the same engine code that was being thrown every time - cylinder misfire. I am convinced 100% that they knew there was an engine issue a year ago when we kept asking them to check it out. They also just recommended another cabin filer replacement when they JUST DID IT LAST YEAR!!! When I mentioned that to the service guy ( I won't name his name), he said, "It depends on the environment, have you been driving on gravel or dusty roads." No man, I have not, in fact I've been working from home for the past year so it hasn't been driven anywhere and all he said was, "That's weird." Now you expect me to purchase another vehicle from you? Not on my life! It's sad that their salesmen will suffer loss of sales based on their extremely poor service department.
