BBB Announces 2017 BBB Torch Awards Nominees

BBB Middle Tennessee is pleased to announce a distinguished group of 44 Businesses submitting entries for the 2017 BBB Torch Awards for Ethical Commerce. Each nominee was required to respond to and provide supporting documentation to four business performance criteria:

  • Management Practices that support and foster ethical commerce
  • Customer, Employee & Community Relations
  • Communications & Marketing Practices
  • Industry Reputation

The BBB Torch Awards for Ethical Commerce is designed to promote the importance of ethical business practices and the willingness of businesses to incorporate best practices that demonstrate a commitment to;

  • Ensuring ethical standards are upheld throughout the entire employee chain;
  • Ensuring positive relationships with customers, employees & community
  • Ensuring truthful advertising, marketing and communications
  • Maintaining a trustworthy reputation within their Industry & with competitors

An independent panel of judges from the business and academic communities will evaluate all entries for the 2017 BBB Torch Awards. Recipients and Finalists in 4- employee size categories will be announced Wednesday, May 17, 2017
