      It is such a shame that this is the only place in Clarksville, TN to buy hockey equipment from, used or new. I've been there a few times before with no issues but after our last visit, we will not be returning. I was waiting to get checked out when my son was doing some stick handling with the stick and ball we were purchasing. He wasn't moving around or shooting it but the employee I've never seen before immediately told me that he can't do that here. Of course, I tell him to stop but what's the issue? He wasn't getting in anyone's way or damaging anything but was simply trying out the equipment I was already going to buy. I know you can't be throwing balls around or be climbing on things which wasn't remotely anything he was doing. This place is too anal about the equipment (which isn't amazing to begin with) and doesn't make me or my son feel welcomed as hockey players. **** ****** in Hendersonville has a net and an area to try out their stuff. They don't expect you to buy anything without trying it out first and testing their stuff out is encouraged. They are very welcoming and make it feel like they want you there. Not the vibe I get at Play it again so I will be using the extra gas and time to go to Hendersonville for my hockey needs from now on.

      ** ********, thank you for your review and information. I do remember you checking out on 2/11 but do not recall you being concerned over asking your son not to "stick play" at the counter. Despite your son's obvious advanced stick and ball control for his age, we do not allow hockey stick play, swinging of baseball bats, kicking soccer balls, throwing lacrosse balls, etc. outside of the designated areas to do this. We offer a full swing room for customer use to test products when requested and when available. I hope you can understand that, due to customer safety, we have rules that govern how (and where) products are tested or used. And, regardless of how benign that activity may seem to a parent, it opens the door for escalation of more aggressive play in customer traffic areas, which is a safety concern and impacts other customers' experiences. I hope you understand that as the owner of a business, I have many responsibilities and customer and employee safety are paramount. I hope you visit us again. Thank you

      Seem to have good prices on used relations is desperately lacking. I would (and will) go anywhere else but there. The owner (I believe) asked my son not to play on the stationary bike, who was trying it out for himself. I told him to get off it and come here then politely told the owner to talk to me next time (because I told my son not to talk to strangers). He told me to watch him and I said talk to me next time. He walked away and I finished doing a price comparison on a bike then told my son to sit on it. While I was trying to size it to him this guy again told me he's not allowed to play on it. I told him I was trying to see if he could reach the pedals and he said he couldn't sit on it. I told him I was buying it for him and twice he asked me if it was for him. That's when I got mad and told him I'm not in the habit of lying and DON'T ask me again. He told me he was going to call the cops to which I told him I didn't give a **** and started the leave. He called them and I said I'd be outside waiting for them. During his call, just before we walked out, he falsely accused me of threatening him. Anyone that knows me knows I don't threaten folks,. The police came and I told them my side to which he told me I was banned from the premises and I told the officer they weren't getting my money anyway (he smiled and nodded). Go anywhere else...even ******. At least they treat you with a little respect instead of a liar. There's a reason you can't complain to corporate.

      The store has a strict policy that prohibits children on equipment- including stationary bikes. I noticed a child playing on a recumbent bike and asked him to please hop off for his safety. This policy is posted in the store for customer information, which the gentleman in the review either did not see or chose to ignore- based on his later action, I believe he chose to ignore the policy. This gentleman proceeded to yell at me not to speak to this boy and to speak with him directly. Other customers in the store stopped shopping and were staring at him due to his yelling. I then asked the gentleman to have the boy hop off the bike. I followed by explaining to the gentleman that children are not allowed on the equipment for their own safety. He then asked the child to get off.

      Fewer that 2 minutes after this discussion, the child was back on the bike, with the gentleman watching him. I asked the gentleman to please have the boy hop off the bike. He said he was watching him. I responded that it didn't matter whether he was watching him, that he could not play on the equipment. He said, "how am I going to know if it fits him?" I informed him that the bike the boy was playing on was not a child's bike but an adult size bike and not the size for a young child (I estimate this was a 7 year old boy) and it is a policy of the store that children are not allowed to play on the equipment. That seemed to touch him off. The man started yelling loudly and cursing. Other customers were shocked at his ranting. I then stated to the gentleman that it would be best if he left the store. He refused and escalated his yelling and cursing to a threating tone. I asked him again to leave the premises. He refused. I informed him that if he didn't leave I would call the police. He said he wasn't leaving and I called the police. While on the phone, the police heard his yelling and cursing and said they were sending an officer. He finally exited the store and I informed him that he would not be allowed back. A customer later came to me and asked what was wrong with this person. I just said I couldn't believe his behavior and apologized for their experience.
