    I hired Two Men and a Truck for a move 5/28/2021 to move items from a one-level home to a storage unit. What should have been a smooth move turned out to be a nightmare. Disclosure: Yes, I have contacted the company and have been in communication with the quality team, to which is part of the complaint herein. All damages mentioned in this complaint have also been visually photographed/documented and submitted. Day of Move 5/28/21: -Two young male movers show up to complete move. -I informed the movers that a 6 drawer solid wood dresser is very heavy. One (1) mover then uses the incorrect dolly (which this was confirmed by the quality team after inspection) and drops the dresser down outdoor steps, resulting in major damage (photographed and documented). -I witness both movers then, barehanded, pulled wooden slats from my solid wood bedframe that were screwed into the wood. 50% of the holes have now been stripped (confirmed by quality team after inspection). -Movers then did not use any straps in the moving truck to secure my furniture or items. Once we arrived at the storage unit and the truck door was opened, I climbed in and took a photo of my furniture toppled over on top of each other (photo has already been submitted and shared with quality team). -This move also resulted in multiple dings and even broken metal handles from multiple items (all documented by quality team). -I called immediately after the movers left to file an official complaint. Quality Team Meet-Up 6/6/2021 -Quality team meets at storage unit to assess damage -Quality team reviews items and takes photos of damage mentioned -Quality team adequately wraps my items and re-stores the items in the unit -Quality team verbally informs me that they would have vendors come fix the damages after I move to my next residence. Nothing is offered/given in writing. -Quality team verbally confirms that all moving teams are equipped with toolbox set, straps, and dollies that should have been used during my move and the team acknowledged they were not. Evening of 6/6/2021: - I submitted a written recap of the damages and request for monetary solution for initial move. -After calling/emailing/texting multiple times, I get a response on 6/10/21 only offering 1 hour of charges refunded -Please note: This had to be specifically requested by me and was not initially offered as part of the original resolution, which is a questionable business model. Current Situation: I have provided an address for a check to be mailed (offered today 6/10) but only if that is what this company deems adequate. Highly disappointed that I will now have to accomodate vendors to repair multiple items, which takes much more than "1 hour" of my time away from my job and/or personal obligations outside of work. I have also yet to receive anything in writing that Two Men and a Truck will be fixing my furniture (both of which these seem that they should be a standard form of practice). Once I received the notice that the company felt that 1 hour refunded was deemed adequate, I then left survey feedback and am submitting through the BBB here as well in hopes the company will reach a better resolution for myself and future customers.
