I have a new direct vent wall furnace used to heat a room when the electricity goes out as the heater requires no electricity.It is new replacement because it was cheaper to buy a new one than to fix the other as a part went out & was going to cost me over $500 to get the part plus Labor. Called *********** because of a rotten egg smell that was coming from the pilot light when the heater was not going. I have a brand new LP tank and it was filled.The new wall furnace had only been used 4 months in previous the winter with no problems and was turned off in April because I do not use it in the summer.The rotten egg smell was new to me. *** and Dud's came out, put a meter of sorts that made a loud noise and the repair person said it was not that bad. Just looked at it for a long time & then he tighten some screws or something. He left & I went out to finish raking leaves.I came back into the house 1 hour later & the smell was worse than ever.Called ******* again and they were going to send out a fresh pair of eyes tomorrow.The same guy comes back & I tell that someone else was going to come out & fix it.He says I'm here now & forces his way into the house. I figured he now knows what the problem is but no I am wrong he just stares at it & says he does not see any problems. I was called by adult son outside and left him in the house (a mistake, never leave a repair person alone in your house). After 30+ min. he came out and said I needed to have the person that put it in fix it. I had already told him, the guy that put it in opened a new business in SE Iowa as he was getting married. I have have never gotten or seen a **** or had a phone call from *************** I get a collection agency letter in the mail yesterday saying I owe them money.Is this a scam or what? I found out they took pictures of my house, etc.WHY???Is this guy a pervert? I would like to see the pictures. Never leave a repair guy alone in your house!!This has scam written all over it.
