    in reference to a recent stay at the Best Western Plus, ******* **.Please let me explain what transpired during our brief overnight stay. (Guest Complaint Ticket # cr519785.) I have to say I am very upset and appalled withthe service and treatment especially by the dayshift manager ***** that was mainly directed towards my husband. We will never stay at this particular hotel ever again. Let me start by explaining that on 07/18/22, we experienced an electrical emergency at our home & had to seek alternative shelter due to the heat. Just to be clear and transparent, My husband and I clearly hold ourselves accountable and do not excuse any words we had or said to the staff, but it was a very stressful situation. My *********** both have health issues and we each have a service dog. The particular policy for this hotel is no pets. We explained to the front desk clerk that ours were service animals. After much debate about *** policies pertaining to service animals, the repercussions of denying service to those w/service animals& a phone call to the general manager ***, who was insistent that they had a right to know personal medical information, we acquired a room for the night-we booked for 2 nights just to be safe. She said she would be looking into it when she returned to work the next morning. Skip to the next morning, my husband went down to readdress the issue & get clarification from the staff. Granted, I wasnt present at the time because we were instructed by the staff upon checking in that the dogs couldnt left alone in the room. The morning manager ***** was very rude towards my husband & unfortunately my husband isnt one who quietly takes rudeness from others. He clapped back that she was being a rude a** Her attitude from was that they only allow service animals is because they have to instead of showing a welcomeness to those in need of service animals & questioned our need for 2 service dogs. (I dont have enough room to finish here, sending email)

    I made reservations for a four night stay in the month of December ****************************************************************************************************************** November. After talking with the hotel manager, they said that they could only refund me for three of the four nights and they have refunded me for the three nights. It was clearly their mistake and I am being penalized for it in the amount of $108.40.
