      Group Health (now known as Health Partners) is trying to double charge us for the same appointment. My daughter has been going to the same allergy department for most of her ******************************************************************************************************************************* to take off. We made another appointment with a different allergist but in the SAME department and same office but they said that would require another appointment since she is a new patient. They charge us $35 each appointment. They did that to my husband as well for something different. Seems like a racket to me.

      This is not insurance. This is a scam. Most providers listed are out of practice or have moved if you can even find a few listed. I found a provider listed as in network and was told in network, but got billed out of network, they told me they were looking into it but it is in network it just needs to be corrected in the system and it took MONTHS for them to get back to me and then tell me it's OUT of network. And now I have called multiple times about a primary care provider who was listed in network and billed as a general office visit but insurance billed me as a specialist rate and no one will answer me or let me talk to anyone and say it may take weeks for an answer. I asked for a manager, no one available. asked to speak to contracting, told no. So I have to pay specialist rate in the meantime for multiple visits while no one actually figures it out again. I hate this scam insurance.
