Buyer Beware! Do not even consider doing business with this company! After signing a contract in March 2023, the company closed up shop and left town with my $11,000.00 down payment.

We had windows done by Twin City Remodeling back in 2004. As time went on, two of our windows developed broken seals. Our complaint is how hard it has been to get any assistance in resolving the issue. Alside Window manufactured the windows and we were told we had to contact them. We couldn't get anywhere with Alside. We're talking over a year of trying. We also believed we had a life-time warranty on the windows. We were informed that is not so. We've now contacted a company that repairs windows. I'm really unhappy when a company doesn't stand behind its product.

The project went well, but it took a long time to complete. We were told by the salesperson that the whole job, which involved new appliances, reworking some cabinets, a new countertop, and an extensive new backsplash, would take about 3 weeks to a month. That was a little overoptimistic. We got started in early January and were finished in mid-July. All that said, it was an okay experience--and for a kitchen project, I'd consider that praiseworthy. We had to re-do some of the work on the cabinets and reorder a retrofit cabinet door that wasn't properly measured, but for the most part, things moved along, generally in fits and starts, but a lot of that was attributable to COVID--lack of people, lack of product, terrible delays in key pieces of the project, particularly a new oven/microwave, which was ordered in December and wasn't installed until early August. The people at TCHR were all really nice, pleasant to work with. And the price was very competitive. Our main contact, Paul Thomas, was great. It was clear that he was spread really thin, but he worked very hard to get to us when he could, and his work was excellent. I'd definitely recommend these folks. Good people.
