The Consent Order settles allegations that the business failed to obtain building permits before beginning work, a violation of Minn. Stat. 326B.84 (2) (2020) and Minn. R. 2891.0040 subp. 1H (2021) and violated a previous Consent Order of 2019. Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to ensure that all required permits are obtained prior to work beginning and all permits are posted at job sites. The business agreed to pay the $7500 penalty from the 2019 Consent Order and have a $20,000 penalty stayed on the condition the business complies with the terms of this Order and in the future, does not violate any laws, rules or orders under the authority of DLI.
