    According to information provided by Viking Client Services, they assist with auto and health insurance claims (billing) and debt collections. Often, they coordinate the insurance process between consumers and car rental companies when damage to a rental car has occurred.  There are not additional charges to consumers for this service as Viking Client Services is working in partnership with car rental companies.

    Consumers should read all terms of their car rental contract and understand the terms and documentation that is provided of the repair and other possible charges. While Viking Client Services may have access to a copy of your rental contract, they do not have the ability to waive or change the terms of the contract. In addition, some charges, such as ‘loss of use” fees are explained in the contract. Documentation of the charges is at the discretion of the rental company, not Viking Client Services.

    As of December 2023, I continue to receive debt collection notices from this company related to a false claim/alleged creditor, Payless Car Rental. ******* released all claims after the party at fault admitted full responsibility and assumed all damages on the payless recorded line, and had full coverage insurance that paid for all damages in February 2023. Payless legal team was contacted in October/November 2023, regarding the continued letters from Viking but they are still sending them. Since this is the main concern, I will not provide further information related to treatment, lack of accountability, or refusal to communicate in a professional manner in this complaint.

    I find it difficult to comprehend how BBB can give this company any positive rating at all, much less an A+. Since numerous other people have continuously and eloquently expounded on the unprofessional acts of this business, I'm not going to waste my time doing so except to say that they are trying to follow the same model with me. I did not take Budget's insurance and someone backed into the rental car in a public parking lot without leaving their contact information. I filed a claim with my insurance company, State Farm, which paid budget's claim in August, 2022. I never heard anything since from Budget. Almost six months later I'm contacted by mail from Viking, saying I owe $2,500. I also keep getting voice messages from them. State Farm's legal department is looking into it. Unless things change, I won't be looking to BBB for any kind of reliable reference henceforth.
