zero stars. We hired them in March 2023 to recoat our bathroom's on the upper and lower floors. From the time of arrival, expected start date, it's been nothing but a living nightmare, currently still is. We couldn't have felt more violated with what they'd done by not following their own protocols. Their lead tech Ty, yes lead.. came to our home one 2 separate days and failed to use ANY air ventilation for the paint overspray, which then was transferred throughout our home through the furnace & duct work, landing ALL OVER, damaging almost everything. (Take a look at our furnace filter) Not only did they lack ventilation, they did little to no prep work, which caused the paint to not stick. It's now 9/23 and we're still working with their insurance company who also has been a pain. We're on our 3rd point of contact there. We continue to be handed off with no resolution or reimbursement for the $122K in damages alone, not counting our personal items damaged. We were told by Surface renew to "hire contractors for the damages and they'll take care of them, for us to forward them the bills". Well, we're now at collections after trusting their word and taking them to small claims court if not paid to us by set date. We have tried to be patient and work with all parties, yet here the homeowner gets screwed after their employee chose to arrive on the job unprepared and not a care in the world, he must not be a homeowner. Attached are a few photos for your own review, much of the damage on wood throughout the home, a photo can't capture. I would NEVER hire anyone to do this type of work in a furnished home. I highly warn against any company who offer these services. If you hire them or any like them, watch them like a hawk and know what to expect. During the spraying of our home, I had sudden onset shortness of breath, migraine and vomiting for a week. We hired "professionals" and didn't think we had to worry.
