This auto repair shop is beyond disappointing. They not only tack on undisclosed fees but also fail to complete the job properly in one visit. Where do I even begin? When I initially called to bring in my car, they conveniently forgot to mention the hefty $175 diagnostic fee. To add insult to injury, they initially claimed the repair wouldn't be covered by my insurance, only to backtrack after a conference call. Fast forward to a week later when I had to bring my car back because it was still driving poorly, they had the audacity to claim the issue was 'unrelated.' First, they insisted on replacing all spark plugs to warranty the fuel injector work, then conveniently claimed one of the spark plugs was damaged by the fuel injector and had to replace them all. However, during discussions with my insurance, suddenly, the spark plugs didn't need replacing after all. The lack of transparency and inconsistency in their approach are appalling. Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy being taken advantage of and dealing with incompetent service.

We have used TGK Saint ******* a few times for some basic things, like oil changes, tire rotation, etc. Took a car there on July 24th for an oil change. Within 2 days, we were getting blue smoke upon cold start. I checked the oil level and it was very overfilled, by almost a quart. Took it back in, they changed the oil to lower the level, free of charge. So far, no problems.3 weeks go by and it is still smoking on cold start. We took the car to our regular shop (*********** Auto) and they say that the oil overfill pushed oil into places it shouldn't be, in an effort to protect the engine. To clean up the mess, it would cost $931 to get all the extra oil out, before it ends up fouling the catalytic converters, which would cost thousands to replace.I took the estimate back to TGK and discussed this with the manager. He denies that the overfill would cause this problem. He also denies the level of overfill, saying it was only .2 or .3 quarts, not almost a full quart. ******* said "we can do this service for you". My reply was quite simple: "If you cannot even get an oil change right, why would I let you do anything mechanical to my car?". I also noticed that the skid plate (the shroud under the car they remove to change the oil) was not secured properly after the 2nd oil change. I requested that TGK take financial responsibility to fix the damage. He discussed it with the district manager and they declined to cover this, as "it is normal to find oil in those places". My other shop says that yes, it IS normal to find oil there - when the crankcase has been overfilled with oil.The manager prefaces his automotive knowledge by saying things like "to be brutally honest with you . . .". This is not a good look to a customer - it does not instill confidence in me that they have a clue what they are doing.Beware TGK Automotive: they s**** up even a simple oil change.

Poor knowledge of vehicles. Did oil change and didn't put part back. I left the shop and car began making noises. I went back and the found loose piece on floor in shop.
