      Do NOT buy from Eagle Motors. They had a business in ********, ** and moved to *********** **. They sell used cars that have major problems and lie about the condition of the vehicle.After putting less than ****** miles on a 2014 ****** Outback, the transmission went out on it.After having a mechanic look at it, this was a know issue and had been covered up by putting engine oil in the Front End Differential fluid location where ****** transmission should go.This oil caused extra pressure in the Front End Differential AND the transmission, causing it to fail and also causing other parts, such as the CV Axles, ******************* to fail.

      ***** purchased a 2014 ****** Outback from us on April 21st 2022 with ******* miles on it. We sold it to him with a 1 month/1,000 mile warranty ( which is pretty standard from any dealership on a vehicle with this age and miles) on the powertrain of the vehicle. On September 8th 2023 he had his vehicle into the shop for repairs when he was notified that his transmission was bad with ******* miles on it. ***** called me about the repairs needed on his vehicle. Even though he had purchased the vehicle 17 months earlier and put on ****** miles I was trying to help him navigate his options to get the vehicle fixed. The repair shop quoted him just under $8,000 to put in a brand new transmission. I suggested considering putting in a good used transmission with lower miles seeing his vehicle already had ******* miles on it. ***** claimed that this was a band aid fix and refused to consider it.Since then I have received two demanding letters from ***** stating that if we don't pay for 75% of his new transmission that he is going to *** us. When we sold the car to ***** it was in great working condition and I'm assuming he hadn't had any other major problems seeing this was the first time I had heard back from him since he had purchased it.Obviously *****'s vehicle was a year and 4 months and ***** miles out of warranty. I was willing to try and help him save some money on the repairs by getting parts at our cost and getting him a discount on the hourly labor rate. I understand he is frustrated but there is nothing else I can do besides what I have already tried to do to help him.
