I purchased a vehicle from this business 12/1/2022. I paid $15000 for the vehicle and another $2500 for what I was told was a "full power-train warranty". Shortly after purchasing the vehicle I was having issues with it. I brought it in and was told that they replaced the CV shaft/axel. Not a week later, the vehicle had catastrophic transmission failure due to the hanger bearing and transfer case breaking/cracking. This seems to have happened because the CV shaft/axel was not fixed correctly, causing the vibrations needed to break the bearing and transfer case. The vehicle was in their shop the first week of February and stopped working February 10th. When I had the vehicle towed to a dealership near me to get fixed, I thought everything would be covered under the warranty. Much to my surprise, the $2500 warranty only covers $2500 of the transmission.I have tried to speak with someone in management at Maplewood Auto Mall since the date of the transmission failure, but to date I have been told that someone would call me back (which they never do). I feel I have been very patient with them, I just want them to fix the vehicle as it was their mechanic who caused the damage. I am also wondering why they would sell me a "full power-train warranty", when it clearly is not. I cannot afford an $8000 repair, let alone paying for the car loan and insurance when I am unable to drive the vehicle. I would appreciate any and all help to resolve this matter.After reading the multiple reviews about this business, I regret going to them in the first place.
