I purchased a vehicle on Nov 13. Once j got the vehicle home the panic alarm continued to go off if the vehicle was locked or the fob left the vehicle. My battery died twice and I was stranded in the cities. I returned the vehicle and they told me they fixed the problem and would not let me out of the sale without a loss of thousands. The panic continued to go off after bringing the vehicle back 4 times. It was never resolved. They offered to buy the Acura back and I could buy my van back. In this transaction I would lose thousands. Never once did I get to deal with someone higher up that could truly make this right. The vehicle was full of mice and my belongings were chewed through. This has been so stressful for one month of back and forth. In the meantime I’m trying to work, raise kids and go back and forth with this vehicle and hopefully not lose thousands of dollars to purchase my van back. This has been a stressful and terrible experience. I want to swap vehicles back and move on and pretend I NEVER stopped at Koppy motors. *****,In response to your complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding your issue with the vehicle you purchased, once again, as General Manager of Koppy Motors, our apologies. I had full authority to do whatever was necessary to solve the situation, and I apologize that my team was not able to fully resolve the mechanical issue in a timely fashion. When we were first notified of the vehicle's alarm going off, killing the battery, our first attempt to make things right was to replace the battery with a brand new battery, as our ASE Certified mechanic discovered an issue relating to low voltage. After the new battery did not resolve the issue, the next step was to purchase and program new factory remotes. To further lessen the inconvenience, while we waited for new key fobs to arrive, we provided, without charge, a loaner vehicle to accomodate your family and business travel needs. You had the vehicle back for a few days, and ultimately we all thought it was fixed, until the alarm acted up again. Finally, we decided that we were going to uninstall the aftermarket remote start system, and install a new system, providing you with peace of mind, and a remote start. We did everything in our power to rectify this issue by systematically trying to solve the alarm issue. Unfortunately, we were not able to fix it to your satisfaction. And at that point, you decided you wanted to trade out of your purchase and back into your trade in which we accommodated in order to satisfy you and put this issue behind all of us. Did a consignment sale with sales manager Matt B***. After 80 days it resulted in ZERO test drives. Bird **** on paint, cobwebs on mirrors, car was placed way in back corner of lot where nobody would see it. Worse yet, buyers could not take if for test drive as seat was moved way forward and up. Power seat fuse was burnt out. Also battery to start vehicle was dead from non use. Hybrid cars can not sit for months with no use! Who is going to test drive a dirty car in the back of lot with a dead battery and a dead power seat? NOBODY. And that's exactly what happened.Review from Brad I.

Bought a used car here, 8 days later I have to take it in to a Madison dealership because it was running on 5 cylinders. I understand it was a used vehicle but when I asked Matt the manager to at least pay half ( since again only had it 8 days) I was told that they would not help because I put on 1700 miles??? I don’t know what the **** that has anything to do with it but again that’s what I was told. Had to leave dealership before I blew up…. They will not back their cars DO NOT BUY HERE!!! And this is just the beginning!! I will spend as much time as I need over social media and and every where I go making sure everyone knows what a bs dealership this is!! AGAIN DO NOT BUY HERE OTHER DEALERSHIPS WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU WAY BETTER THEN THIS S”/; SHOW WILL!! MORE TO COME !!! Forgot to add that they didn’t even clear out the old owners **** found a bunch of stuff in center console. Don’t tell me they check all the mechanicals on vehicles when they don’t even clean the inside…. And since this car has turned into a pos already I think I will paint all over it “ DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KOPPY MOTORS”!! Welp gotta go gotta build a big sign fro my front yard , right off Viking blvd in Wyoming Minnesota that also reads “ DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KOPPY MOTORS” !!! I recently purchased a car from this shop with my parent. As some background, I work multiple jobs and was in quick need of a reliable car for transportation between the jobs. I purchased a 2003 PT Cruiser. It ran fairly smoothly in the beginning and when we thought there may be a problem, we were able to quickly get into contact with Koppy to get everything resolved. This was a few days after purchasing. At this current point in time, I have had the car for less than three months. My transmission went out at a stoplight, so I ended up having to get the car towed to the shop. Once again, we made quick contact and we're able to get it towed directly to the shop. That was 8 days ago. My car still had not even been looked at. We have reached out multiple times, with no response more often than anything, and the only update we have received is that the person who is supposed to look at my car has been out. While we were offered a $150 reimbursement for a rental car, everything we have seen costs much more, especially for more than 8 days. We are finally being offered a loaner car, but only after multiple phone calls and attempts to reach any person. Frankly, at this point we have had more problems than good experiences and are quite frustrated with the lack of communication, courtesy, and work on the car.Koppy Motors of Forest Lake Response

Bethany, I understand you frustration and am sorry that you are have transmission issues. Our tech has been out sick for a week and this has been communicated to Crystal on multiple occasions. I am as frustrated with this situation as you are and want it resolved as soon as possible. Our goal is to get you vehicle fixed as soon as possible and get you back on the road. As I told Crystal yesterday, We will a loaner car available today, May 28th. I will be in contact with Crystal this morning to set it up.
